I now have to add my engine. 🙄😳😢
123k and I am having to replace it. Thankfully my mechanic was able to find a remanufactured one that will have a four year warranty which is actually better than the original one. This will fix all the other issues at one go. So yeah.
Mine went to 120k and then decided to do this. Right as I was planning a cross country trip. 😳🙄
I’m actually going to have a remanufactured motor put in with a 4 year warranty. That will be better than the original. Will cost me a few extra dimes but will be worth it to me. I like my Jeep.
I’m consistently hearing bad things about the KO3’s and just got a set of the KO2s which seem to be ok. Hopefully there will be a decent option once these wear down. I had been using the stock Falken Wildpeak MS tires but they were getting harder to find Nice used ones.
I’m definitely looking at Yellowstone If we can get in. 4 corners would be cool. Might be able to work in Mesa Verde as well while in the area. Mt. Rushmore is something I remember as being amazing but I’ve heard it’s hard to get into these days.I have to look up the mammoth cave. That sounds...
I am going to see a family member in NC with a stop to see another family member on the way. Recently had a death in the family and need to pick up some items. Flying just won’t do the trick and these two weeks are what I have to work with. I want to make memories for her while doing the road trip.
That is actually really cool. My grandfather, dad and uncle were coal miners. Grandpa actually was the owner of a coal mine in Colorado for a time. He had to sell it after a collapse that put him in the hospital. Picture is of grandpa, dad and uncle. Grandpa in the middle, dad in the front.
Dad...
I will be going from West coast to East coast in a couple of month, camping our way as we go. It’s going to be my 10 almost 11 year old kid and myself. I want to make this trip a true memory for her. Show her places she won’t get to see again as a kid.
I only have 2 weeks to get there and back...
The only thing I don’t like is not being able to “see” the voltage of the aux battery to monitor it like one can monitor the main. That should have been a thing we can see.
Also how about cleaning It? We get bugs covering our windows every time we drive a certain hwy. Enough that one has to actually scrub the window with cleaner to get them off.
I did this fix, then added marine quality silicone sealant where that didn’t fill the remaining gap. No further leaks even in heavy rain. It’s been almost a year since doing that fix.
I have 120K on mine. I need to replace my windshield for the 4 th time due to rock damage. This time is the worst cracking I’ve ever had. 😳.
I’m also on my fourth set of tires. I went with KO2’s this time so we will see how long they last.
My rear window decided to leak. We ended up putting...
I have the hard top and had the issue where water was coming in around the window. My carpet got wet and despite trying to dry it out as quickly as possible it got mildew on it plus the plastic behind the seat. That musty smell was actually what let me know I had a leak in the first place.
it’s...
