very helpful, I was under the impression that the stock wheel size was 17x9 rather than 17x7.5. With that being the case, is there Any benefit going to a wider wheel with positive offset vs skinny with negative offset? I’d imagine the more negative the offset gets the more stress it could put...
What’s up everybody, Im seeking some guidance and info on new wheels for my gladiator. I’ve got a 21 willys with a 3.5 inch lift, aftermarket fenders and inner fenders, 1.75 inch wheel spacers and 315/70/17 all terrain tires (34.5 inches I think?). I want to stick with a 17x9 wheel so I can use...
I bought my 21’ willys about 3 months and 10,xxx miles ago. Love it to death and wouldn’t hesitate to get another. First hundred miles I owned the truck I had an issue with my 4x4 axle lock actuator. Couple days at the dealership and it’s been good to go ever since. Currently have 3.5 inch lift...
3.5 inch rough country
34.5x12 cooper at3 xlt tires
Stock wheels for now with 1.75 inch wheel spacers
Haven’t put wheel liners back in yet don’t judge too much lol
I have heard that as well. I think teraflex makes a 3/4 inch rear spacer? Either way I’m sure some company out there offers a small rear spacer to bring you back to level or maybe a small bit of rake
yeah I hear that, imo I think 34-35 inch tires with a leveling kit is a perfect stance. Any bigger lift than that and it starts to look like a skateboard a bit lol and any bigger rubber than that and we’ll be looking at regearing . Not sure if you still have your stock mud terrains on but there...
Set up is all preference and what kind of stance you’d like it to have when it’s all said and done. On stock suspension I went to 34.5x12.5 cooper at3 and put on 1.75 inch wheels spacers to prevent rubbing. I’m still running stock wheels as well. I accidentally ordered a 2.5 inch leveling kit...
2021 gladiator willys

Dv8 front and rear slim fender flares
Dv8 inner fenders front
Red rock stubby front bumper
Rough country 9500 lb winch

not sure what the numbers were, I already threw away the sheet unfortunately. Everything was within specthough. I haven’t had it on highway yet but on back roads around 55 mph give or take it drove completely normal
my kit did come with an adjustable track bar and I set that a little longer than stock to help compensate for the lift. I forget what the actual numbers were from my alignment today but it seemed at worst my toe was out of whack a couple degrees maybe? For whatever that is worth lol. That makes...
Im loving the lift so far, it jacked the truck up much higher than I had pictured in my head prior to installing it. As far as the spring vs spacer thing goes I’m totally not the guy to ask lol I’m sure one of the veteran guys in here would be happy to educate us both on that. But I can say...
Thank you for the info, I went ahead and got the alignment done first thing this morning. I did torque everything while the truck was in the air, but went back around after it was on the ground and made sure everything was tight. Despite the lifts directions I was able to put the springs in...
Hey everyone, I’m new here and relatively new to owning a gladiator. Just installed a 3.5 inch rough country lift ( both shocks and springs) and had a question regarding my alignment. I was told by a friend that I should give it a few hundred miles before getting alignment to let the springs...
I traded up from a 2018 ram classic quad cab to a gladiator willys and haven’t regretted it for a second. It’s smaller, less comfortable, more noisy, and just generally less refined in almost every aspect but it’s a super fun truck. If you enjoy driving a vehicle that gets looks, or enjoy...
