  3. 3rd brake light/bedliner issue

The LED will be the easiest part of that project I did the pigtail sincr it would light up when i wiggled the connector. I then replaced the LED after the pigtail didn't fix it but 2 weeks. I see so many 3rd brake lights out on Gladiators, it should be a tsb for safety
  4. Diff oil

My vote is 75w-90... I also change every 2 years. I live in Phoenix so not often crossing water. If I did a lot of mud or water crossing it would be more often. Full Synthetic is my choice.

  7. Re-gearing in AZ …

I looked around Phoenix area without much luck as to what I wanted. I wanted a clean shop like I would expect a professional shop to look like. I actually ended up going to Prescott Valley to Summit 4x4. Those guys were thorough and professional which also included a 500 mile follow up to change...
  8. Diesel - Will i regret regearing to 4.88?

I have 4.88s with 35s... little high rpms on the highway but once I go to 38s, it will be great again. Driving in the mountains has plenty of power to stay in 8th or 7th when passing. 4.88s w/ 35s on the street is like a race car and still get 23.5mpg. Merging on a highway is awesome, I...
  9. Your stock Rubicon diesel JT bottoming out? Here’s the fix!!

I had a winch installed, an aftermarket bumper and leveling kit on the front. They had no problem doing the tsb for me.
  10. Replacement Recalled fuel pump started leaking while trying to sell the truck!!

Update.... Dealer took responsibility for an oil line that didn't get tightened completely. I took it back in and asked they change the oil to make up for the inconvenience. The service advisor agreed and got it back quickly. Excellent service because I think we can all agree that everyone...

My recall was taken care of 2 weeks ago... now I have spotting oil drops on my driveway. 40,000 miles. Guess I will be making a call tomorrow morning.
  12. MPG Steadily dropping….

I get 23-24mpg with 35s. I adjusted tazer for my 4.88s and 35s. I run 30psi and drive it hard. Might get better once I get my 38s
  13. MPG Steadily dropping….

You notice how much more power you have since it's cooling down from summer. I know my diesel is loving it. I definitely think you should be getting 20, but I don't know your driving habits. Cooler temps do bring mpg down as stations are bringing in winter fuel. Just a possibility...
  14. Tazer mini reverse lights stuck on?

It's a matter of unlocking from the fob 5 times. If you lock it too many times or something like that it will do that. Took me a minute to figure it out. Try starting it. turning it off. get out lock it and then unlock it and get in normal...
  15. JT owners post your MPG

21 Rubicon Diesel, 4.88s, 35's, ESS off. Drive it like I stole it gets me 21mpg. Drive it like a grandpa gets me 23mpg. I'm sure it will increase after the 37's installed as the RPMs will be lower.
  16. Fingers Crossed — exhaust service message on cross country trip

Happened to me on a long trip with a trailer. You can most likely continue on as I did but no boost as the waste gate stays open in limp mode. There were no dealerships willing to squeeze me in as well. Took it to dealer when I got home. They cleared code and blew smoke up my ... They didn't...
  17. Saw this in Ankeny, Iowa this AM -

Mopar actually sold a kit for around $8k. Didn't seem to complicated to do yourself.
  18. 37 or 38

Kinda in the same boat. Mine is a Diesel, currently 35's I'm looking at trails in the 6-8 range. I have regeared with 4.88, RCV front axles and real bumpers and sliders. These things are long. I definitely feel 38's due to airing down... a half inch more is a half inch more. But I don't want to...
  19. Sliders sliders sliders??

They have the option to have the Rubicon rails or not... high quality you could definitely lift the Gladiator up on the sliders
