Update....
Dealer took responsibility for an oil line that didn't get tightened completely. I took it back in and asked they change the oil to make up for the inconvenience. The service advisor agreed and got it back quickly. Excellent service because I think we can all agree that everyone...
You notice how much more power you have since it's cooling down from summer. I know my diesel is loving it. I definitely think you should be getting 20, but I don't know your driving habits. Cooler temps do bring mpg down as stations are bringing in winter fuel. Just a possibility...
It's a matter of unlocking from the fob 5 times.
If you lock it too many times or something like that it will do that. Took me a minute to figure it out.
Try starting it. turning it off. get out lock it and then unlock it and get in normal...
21 Rubicon Diesel, 4.88s, 35's, ESS off. Drive it like I stole it gets me 21mpg. Drive it like a grandpa gets me 23mpg. I'm sure it will increase after the 37's installed as the RPMs will be lower.
Happened to me on a long trip with a trailer. You can most likely continue on as I did but no boost as the waste gate stays open in limp mode. There were no dealerships willing to squeeze me in as well. Took it to dealer when I got home. They cleared code and blew smoke up my ... They didn't...
Kinda in the same boat. Mine is a Diesel, currently 35's
I'm looking at trails in the 6-8 range. I have regeared with 4.88, RCV front axles and real bumpers and sliders. These things are long. I definitely feel 38's due to airing down... a half inch more is a half inch more. But I don't want to...
White Knuckle for me and installed. Only think I did change was they didn't use stainless steel nuts for the insert hardware. I believe the button head was but the nut wasn't. No big deal to me but good to know before completely installing. Built to take a beating for sure. I personally don't...
I'm definitely not an expert...
Have you tried that off-road+ button? I haven't tried it myself but I heard it does a little remapping of the throttle response and shift points. Just a thought?
Does it solve the harsh hitting of bumps for the diesels? (completely?)
I did have the TSB done and it did help some but I am looking for a solution not a band-aid
You have my attention... I loved my 2 lo kit on my YJ. So much easier to steer sharp corners with out all the binding. Let us know what you come up with. I do have a Tazer and love it, well worth the money. And I to have pulled it without unmarrying it. No big deal, worked fine.
I got the 9 qts of Mopar oil for 10.69/qt. online with local pickup in Phoenix. Doc's Diesel is very reasonable on filters. Most drain pans i see easily handle 9 qts. Getting rid of oil at any Walmart or parts store is pretty easy. The coupon is a good price, but getting under your jeep to see...
Dealer ordered mine and it took roughly a month. Did correct issue about 90%. Having a winch, I probably would consider it a win. I even had the leveling kit installed and thought they might try to say they couldn't do it because of that. They did good and I was happy I took the time to have...
I bought a piece of 1" stainless tubing and cut the middle at a 45 degree angle. That made me 2 funnels. One I keep in the Jeep and 1 I keep in the garage. They won't scrape off into the tank and I can clean them off with brake clean if need be. I even put on a SS hose clamp so I didn't end up...
