On my way back from the Black Hills/Deadwood SD to NY right now. Not as uncomfortable for my family of 5 as I thought it would be. Didn't dare push it much over 70 due to conditions, and gas mileage. All in all, would do again, even got a new duck!
Hey all, looking for a skid plate that is compatible with the Barricade Trekker front bumper. Is there a universal option? This will be my first real mod, so hoping to keep it as simple (haha, simple...) as I can. Thanks in advance!
Looking for the best map resources for our trip to the Deadwood SD area. I've been scouring the web and all I can find are some confusing Nat'l park maps. Anyone with some local knowledge would be appreciated. Don't want to get caught out on some trail system that I shouldn't be/don't belong on...
Thanks all! Sounds like a heat gun, goo gone and patience are the best tools for the job. I also love the Willy decal, just taking one off so that I can put one of those hood name decals on (it's my Valentine's day gift from my old man!).
Well ... My husband's rank DID help me afford the Willy so 🤷🏼♀️
I laughed out loud - glad there is still someone out there willing to throw punchlines.
After I brought mine back to the dealership to check for a leak after the repair the tech said he was 'totally confident' that it was just residual oil from the first leak. My repair happened around 6000 miles, so I'll keep an eye on it...
My husband and I both looked at the seal area when we came back to the shop to get it, and they definitely did not clean it initially. Must have misplaced their funnel that day. I wouldn't sign their paperwork until it was cleaned and I told the service team that it looked like it had already...
The part came in and got the Jeep "fixed" Monday. When I picked it up it already looked like there was a drip happening.
Woke up to this.
Looks suspiciously like another leak 🤦🏼♀️
Got mine replaced today after noticing the leak back in September. Looks like it was already leaking again when I got here (still at the dealership...) to pick up my repaired Jeep. Heard a few people had to have the axle replaced more than once so hopefully this is a fluke thing.
