I have the faintest noise coming from my passenger side while cruising. Mostly occurs with heavier vibrations. Sometimes I think it’s wind related and it’s sneaking through somewhere. Sometimes I think it sounds like a quarter sitting on a seat rail vibrating just the slightest amount. It’s...
Anyone have a recommendation for a backseat baby mirror that stays in place when windy? Current one won’t stay in place and doesn’t tighten at the pivot point. Will need a second one by end of July so figured I’d give my wife mine and buy 2 sturdy mirrors.
I’ll go Kenda again if I can get 5 for $900 again but I’ll look elsewhere if I’m paying normal prices.
How many miles is everyone getting? I’m only at 15,000
I’m at about 12k miles on mine. Need to rotate soon. Rotated at 7k miles first time. They’ve done great for me in snow and light mud. They slip a little easier than I’d like in rain while turning. I always go to 4AUTO now just to be safe.
Yeah that sounds like what I thought would be required. I don’t know if our fender rivets are wildly different but nothing really lined up for me like others explained.
Wow first max tow fender I’ve seen with them. I bought them but alignment was crazy so I sold them. Can you snap a couple photos of front and rear wheel wells with the rivets? Did you add rivets to the fender or to the flare?
super lucky honestly. We’ve been between 40 and 60 degrees but Saturday was almost 80 where we were. Back to 40 the next 3 days and 80 again today.
I couldn’t get them completely out but I propped them up enough to stuff with towels. Wish I had a dash cam.
Never done anything with the diff myself. Watched a couple videos and that drain plug is awfully short.
Father in law mentioned something about checking wheel bearings and/or axle bearings. Throwback from his days as a Marine. Thoughts on checking anything like this?
Thanks for chiming in! We were having an awesome day so I just said screw it and went for it. I walked all the paths first and knew it would be close to my side rails. I actually waved the SXS up to me in video 1 because I thought I took the wrong line and was about to dip into something much...
Went on an unplanned adventure this weekend (Saturday) and dipped the Gladiator in a few parts of Lake Cumberland South Fork.
Floor took on a small amount of water from the SXS rolling up next to me in video 1. Removed my front drain plugs, folded the carpet up to dry with towels, and aired...
I have the lockable under seat storage just sitting in my basement unused because of car seats in the rear. I was looking for ideas on bed storage like a swing case and had the wild idea to DIY brackets for the trail rail to hold the storage unit in place. Anyone done anything like this or have...
Oh wow. Wonder if the one I won is just old tech and new tech just outpowers it? Why would Makita be so much more expensive? I'm a Dewalt user because they are regularly on sale and I just buy things when they are on sale. Dewalt is a fantastic price when on sale.
This is probably my best...
I won this thing brand new in a box from a local Makita dealer. I could see myself using it maybe one time for some sort of work on the car but this thing has way more power and capability than I need. I haven't been able to move it on Facebook or Craigslist. Anyone have thoughts on what I...
I pulled the trigger on XL regular length. The fronts are almost perfectly in line with my poke. Haven’t installed rear yet.
I will say pictures make these things look huge and I wasn’t interested in them but after install of the fronts, they look great.
Apologies for thread revival, about to pull trigger on Rokblokz.
What is the offset on your rim? I'm running 35s on a 4.75" backspace rim, maybe 1-1.5" poke and trying to decide between original or XL (regular length). You think reg length would have covered enough?
