No. Nothing connects to the output of the factory amplifier unless you are re-using some of the factory amp channels.
It is two plugs that total 12 channels as the factory system is 12 channels, and PAC gives you the option to switch to external amplification for all of them. Most will not...
i had to Google them, looks like a cool product, though I think those are for the upper dash position? If so, I used the Terra Acoustics set up in that spot, and they include their own replacement grills to locate/mount their tweeter.
I was concerned about this as well and it actually turned...
Man, those types of problems can be frustrating. As mentioned above, a good shop should be able to diagnose their own work on this, so I'd definitely put the onus on them to make good on it. It sounds like most of the main components have been tested/swapped, but perhaps the PAC Audio unit...
Nice install — thanks for sharing!
You’ll probably want to stay 8/9 channel — the factory Alpine system is active and the factory speaker wiring is set up as such. It keeps the tuning options really broad.
There’s only a couple 3.5’s that will drop into the soundbar (there is less space than the 3.5” dash location). The Kenwoods fit as does the Mopar/Kicker OEM upgrade from the Dart.
More elaborate upgrades need to be considered more thoroughly if SQ is your goal as you want the sound stage in...
Nothing of interest on warranty will be denied as long as it’s a high-quality stabilizer and isn’t causing problems on its own. In cases like this where Jeep/Mopar sells and uses Fox both for OEM parts/branding and for their performance parts catalog, that’s a brand highly unlikely to raise any...
If you have the VIN you should be able to pull a digital copy:

Just change the VIN in the URL as needed (that’s my turk)
The 3.5’s in the dash and rollbar are worth upgrading. This will give the vocals and clarity upgrade most are seeking.
The 4” midbass in the knee panel and rollbar is not. It is not a coax from the factory and replacing it with a coax does not make sense from an SQ perspective. Beyond that, it...
Round 2! Shortly before SEMA I decided to have Musicar NW finish the up the system...the first round upgrade of a DSP Amp + Sub upgrade had turned out far better than I ever imagined and I was eager to go even further ?
The previous tune was amazing for taking advantage of every last bit of...
I liked them as a stock upgrade, and they shine with amplification and DSP tuning.
I like them enough that I plan to leave them during my next upgrade — I’ll be replacing the 3.5” rears and 4” front and rear with Helix Ci3 tweeters and woofers, but retaining the TA’s...
…how many speakers are you trying to add to the rear in total?
Generally speaking, the most straightforward way to run many speakers at a time is to run them in pairs as a 2-ohm load, which most modern amps can handled per channel. So a 4 channel amp could run 8 speakers total (4 pairs of 2).
It certainly works but the AmpPro is likely the best option for a painless flat incoming signal. A normal LOC may be a repeater for low freq. roll-off, high volume roll-off, any built-in EQ or phase shifts, etc. That said, I believe the AmpPro requires full amplification of all speakers if...
Somewhere closer to 36.25-36.5 will likely be most accurate with those tires at normal inflation
Measuring diameter while installed and loaded is a bit misleading, as the rolling circumference of the tire does not change just because the tire is loaded and squatting some.
Hence why the factory...
MOPAR does not sell a master kit, and dealerships don’t sell Dana parts. Hence the question, as each part of the install “kit” is sold as an individual line-item MOPAR part. Thank you though!
They do! 4.56 and 4.88 have a factory part number and are offered through the Jeep Performance Parts catalog ?
