Trust me, I wish I could go back in time and never look ? It led me to start looking at the others, and now my eye starts twitching whenever I get near the truck...
I have noticed this on the Jeep badging on the passenger side fender as well. Should I ask about it during my next service visit? I feel silly for even asking, but now that I’ve noticed it, I can’t un-see it ?
LSPI and knock are two separate things. The former is rare and mostly plagues direct injected engines and/or forced induction engines these days; the latter is somewhat "normal" and will be encountered occasionally (and sometimes often) by virtually all engines running on pump gas.

I believe this is one of the reasons why AEV used a secondary/doubler plate in this area on their DualSport lifts. Surprised there aren't more out there, it's a fairly simple design.
I use it every drive -- normally just for CarPlay music, but also for nav when needed. I don't need to use the phone itself, just CarPlay through the screen. But it's right there between the cup holders if I do want to pick it up and do something on it.
This should help with setting the Apple...
Mojave uses a unique size for the lower shock bolt, to the best of my knowledge. Normal JL and JT extensions will not fit the front.
JL rear shocks face the opposite direction and I would think that would impact rear extension fitment as well.
It looks like Rusty's sells what you seek...
I recently spent way too much upgrading and integrating my old TeraFlex recovery kit from my JKU into an ARB-based kit for my JT. Yes, I paid a lot for a name brand on my components, but the gear bag itself is fantastic, and I don't mind supporting those who support us (I'll spend far more in...
I went with the same C-range version for that exact reason and am very happy with the outcome. I also used weight as a criteria when choosing wheels and managed to only add right around 7 lbs total per corner from the stock JTR A/T setup, most all of it in the wheel itself.
It depends on the build. From what I've read, the 2L did not go into production until Feb or March, and the diesel much later in the year. I'm splitting hairs, but it's an important distinction in your particular discussion. 4 months of production is not much time to begin getting feedback...
2018 was a split year. JK's were phased out as 2018's and JL's were introduced as 2018's. JL production did not begin until the very end of 2017 and only for certain build configurations.
For what it's worth, I think this issue is a part of the reason for the brake line and endlink plates that are used on the full AEV DualSport lift kits. It appears the brackets effectively act as a doubler plate, and it ties in with other mounting holes to reinforce the area.

What are you hoping will come of your meeting? The manufacturer absolutely cannot undo a required recall service, nor sell you another truck that doesn't have it done; you (or they) can only hope for another subsequent TSB or recall to supercede the...
I work in the tuning products industry and have attended various seminars about the laws that are being enforced by the EPA, and where their current focuses are (and why).
During recent presentations, the EPA has shown data that they estimate there are ~500k known deleted trucks in existence...
