  2. Beware windows bolts on 2021 jtr

Dang! I would have been in a major panic had that happened to me. I did use a short ratchet only, though (if you give me a tool with leverage, I will inevitably use it for harm). I did manage to break the cast metal carrier that holds the door handle cap somehow during the job. I have...

How much gas did it use?

  6. AEV JT370 picked up today

I love how "right" AEV got their wheel specs for these rigs. The tuck and no rub is beautiful :)
  7. Front Axle Disconnect - 5 Weeks and still no fix!

Very sorry to hear about your dealership experience. In the past I have had some luck with providing a typed letter with an explanation for each service item, especially if it's something that is difficult to reproduce. I'll add part numbers, TSB references, sales codes or photos or whatever...

Around 55k with my local fuel prices. I'm just plugging numbers into Excel for fun and the price difference between regular and diesel will definitely change regionally. Gas owners may also opt to run plus or premium in response to pinging which would of course sway the cost side of things into...

The mounts turned into a fun little Sunday project. I don’t think I’ll ever need the axe, but I figured why not for $45 all in? ?
  12. Am I stupid? Rugged Ridge Trail Rail Hi-Lift mount fail?

The clamps. The bolts were 25 cents each at the hardware store. They are the #10-32 x 3/4” ones as listed in the product description above. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CQPANY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_E3RMGTZT7RQZA8V9NGN4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

For a conventional, I have liked the Warn Epic 12k. It's heavy but the construction is reassuring.
  14. 10mpg w/37's

It depends on what numbers you use to calculate it, what economy you'd actually get in the real world on each version, and what the cost of gas vs diesel is in your area. When I played with the numbers, the payback period could be as soon as 36k miles or way out past 100k. Using the current...
  15. Turn assist with tazer

In my case, I feel like I can actually see better with the lights on. It might be total placebo affect, but with them off, I feel like I'm just staring into darkness. I would love if it could be disabled.
  16. TPMS in Spare?

TPMS will work when the vehicle is stationary. You can test this by airing up and down in your driveway with the vehicle running. Selectable Fill Alerts also wouldn't work if TPMS didn't update when stationary.
