I went with the fully carpeted roof by Coverking. It helps with both sound and heat/cold as it's completely covered. I also replaced the carpet with armorlite flooring with has a backing on the entire rubber covering. Same result; quieter and better heat/cold retention.

10/10. Great product. Install is not difficult it just seems that way becauce you have to loosen all seat bolts. WEAR GLOVES. Edges under the seats are sharp! I removed the rear seat and put the fronts in with the seats still in just loosened. 10 months. No wear. 7000 miles.

Wire trap to turn signal then power with a fuse tap to F52. Auto light control from the fuse panel then tells it whether it's turn or drl.

I left them in. There are indentations on the bottom of the, well at least my, flooring to go over those. It helps line it up and hold them in place.

I guess the install part would be considered DIY. The purchase would be DIY also unless you had an assistant that you asked buy it for you.

No. I would want the bed spayed with nothing attached maybe just the bolts and cut them free. I wouldnt want the rails to have nothing under then though. If you took them off it'd be bare. I'm guessing, purely a guess, it's going to be about the same work either way.

Be careful taking them out and not breaking them. That liner is tough stuff.

Sorry, I forgot to post this. UPS wanted $65 to ship. String size of the box was really big. I get that this is prohibitive.
