I don't have this system on my gladiator but im slightly confused because I thought the camera and radar assembly are attached to the body of the vehicle and not on the windshield like on other vehicles. Unless the new windshield itself is blocking the camera and radar I cant see any other...
Probably not getting the target correctly positioned. With my experience with those kind of systems I would say that the bumper is probably getting in the way of the target being where it was supposed to be. Also the lightbar I would say is probably not helping with the programming.
Just hose it down throughout winter and don't let packed up snow stay stuck on my vehicle all winter. Still haven't had a vehicle fall into pieces before I decided to get rid of it.
P&S brake buster does amazing. Buy it in a gallon size off amazon though because its much cheaper that way. I like the Meguiars ultimate wheel cleaner and turlewax hyperfoam but those bottles from the parts store don't last very long on bigger tires.
If its a metal crush washer I would 100% replace it everytime you do an oil change. We have those on Kias and they'll leak when reused and they actually squish so much they'll move up the threads and damage the oil pan
I work for Kia and they put pictures of the worker with their name on stickers between the headliner and the roof of the car... Not sure if theyre supposed to remove them but I've found two of them already.
The brakes are no longer drawing vacuum from the engine and what you're hearing is a vacuum pump that is very loud. If the brakes are working when driving there really is no issue. As far as cruise control goes that sounds pretty normal to me I doubt theres anything to fix there. As far as...
A paint correction and full vehicle application by an experienced detailer youre looking at 1000$+ for a 2-3 year coating. An inexperience detailer can really ruin the application and then you'll be looking for someone else to fix it so make sure you find someone with a lot of experience
Yeah the time to do that is when they're unloaded and the person checks it in inspects them. Chances are that person will get in trouble and the dealership should do something for him to compensate for the damage if they don't send it somewhere to be repaired
hmm for some reason I thought those were threaded... some will have an o-ring with a metal clip that you just have to push it through to lock into place. If its the o-ring style with a metal clip to lock it in place make sure the o-ring is lubricated.
The manufacturer I work for will only replace light assemblies if water pools inside of the lamp. They might replace them if the guy over at stellantis is having a great day.
The long block itself with no accessories on it at all was about 10k but I never asked how much labor was involved... I would guess maybe 18-20 hours at about 160$ an hour.
First TRX to hit our lot and sold came back a couple weeks later with a blown engine. Tuner installed and the claim was denied... guy pissed and moaned to Stellantis for weeks and got no where. Had to pay for a replacement engine out of pocket...
yeah you see that little tab going through the hole? Thats like that to make positioning the clamps easier and then when you squeeze the clamp it disengages the tab and clamps tight. Im shocked it didn't pop off earlier...
