I successfully mounted it on top of the spare tire and ran the air filters up the driver bed side. It’s been there on several trips to include a hot and dusty trip to Anza Borego over Memorial weekend with no issues. It’s seen water without any issues as well.
The best part is this location is...
I agree it needs to be protected and out of the elements. I don’t see much difference mounting it on the firewall or on a crossmember above my spare tire. They are both outside the protection of the passenger compartment. The truck will be lifted on 37’s and if a water crossing is deep enough to...
I think I’ve figured it out. Last night I lowered the spare tire and physically placed the dual compressor unit on top of the rear crossmember. It’s a tight fit between the crossmember and the bottom of the bed but definitely fits. Funny enough, two of the holes in the crossmember actually line...
I appreciate the reply. Unfortunately on the diesel version, the washer fluid reservoir tank is right where he installed that bracket and it extends all the way down to the frame rail. The gas version has the reservoir tank closer to the headlight.
I appreciate the reply and the info. I’m getting ready to install my lift and while I’m under the truck I’m going to figure out an under cab location
Thank you for the reply. The large box is an option. Before I commit to this option, I want to get under the truck and make sure I can’t...
Has anyone found an ARB Twin mount to locate it outside the passenger compartment? It seems the washer fluid reservoir prevents it from being mounted below the brake booster. The choices are seemingly endless for the gas version but looks like in the cab or bed are the only gas versions I can...
I was told it’s “close” but that was all he could tell me. I’ve gone ahead and ordered the lift. It should all be here by the end of next week. Once the DEF tank relocation is sorted out, I will purchase the 4 link rear cradle and upgrade it then. I’m not terribly concerned it’s not ready yet...
I spoke to RK about this last month. They told me a solution is in the works. Like you, I want the 4 link suspension. Last week I ordered the diesel kit and will upgrade to the 4 link when they come up with the solution. I couldn’t wait any longer. Bottoming out the front suspension on Walmart...
Because it’s worth using the forums to try and fix the problem first. It would be a complete waste of time going to the dealer for a fuse or relay issue.
Nothing from the pump motor, just the faint click sound behind the dash on the passenger side.
It’s odd that messing with the fuse box made it work momentarily. I think it confirms my fear that it needs to go back to the dealer.
Has anyone had an issue with their sprayer not working? I ordered the truck earlier this year and picked it up Nov 6th. It’s a diesel Rubicon with the trail cam option. I’ve got about 1,600 miles on the truck and realized this past weekend the sprayer motor does not work. I found the tank was...
This was talking about an aftermarket turbo timer in response to another member saying he sits in his truck for two minutes while it idles.
It’s not always feasible to sit in your truck for two minutes every time you want to shut it down. An aftermarket turbo timer will do it for you. Turn it...

This is exactly what a turbo timer does. The convince it provides is you don’t have to wait in the vehicle. It does the cool down for you. Once the timer hits zero, the engine shuts down.
I agree all the extra beeping sounds get annoying but I also know when I get in that car I’m getting into loud exhaust, external waste gate and hard motor mounts so I’m in the mood. It’s definitely not a daily. If your X is a daily I can see the annoyance. A smart version that monitors live...
Over the past week I’ve read through all 27 pages of this thread and one thing stands out. ShadowsPapa definitely seeks pleasure “correcting” every person who shares their opinion and input.
I’m about 4 weeks into the build/wait for my diesel Rubicon and have really appreciated this thread...
