Hi All, since this post I made back in July just popped up again, I'm happy to say, after 2 NOCOS, and 2 towertops, tricle charges could not fully charge mo Mojave, the CTEC I purchase shorty after various rec's where made by you guys, has been working flawlessly...My way of connecting it up has...
So one more question Folks if you don't mind, in the two options to connect the tenders negative lead, both which got many "thumbs-up", post #25 by Lost Wing "above the plate on the batteries negative" (and which I have always used since day 1 with these tenders), and post #28 by jhale1800...
Thanks so much, your picture makes it crystal clear, overnight, that is exactly where I connected it to: on the "top" on the stud right next to the one you connect to...That said, from the very beginning, since the first NOCO I had, and the second NOCO I had, and the Tower Top I had, I have...
Well, fired up my new CTEK MXS 5 yesterday about 3PM, by this morning 6AM it went through the various steps and is fully charged at this point...So far so good, now the real test comes will it crap out like the last few Tenders I have (they probably did charge the batteries to about 80% but...
Thanks for all the comments EVERYBODY!
Just to answer some of the questions/speculation above...With the first NOCO, these problems happened BOTH before and after I purchased 2 BRAND new batteries AGM batt's from my dealer. And the NOCO after its short time working fails the same way on my 2003...
Hi folks, I'm wondering if anyone has had success with a trickle-charger they are using with their Gladiator which has ESS and a dual battery system? And what brand that might be?
I have tried 2 of them already: 1) a NOCO Genus 1, which worked for about 2 months and then crapped out in the...
Does anyone know if our 3 year warranty covers the batteries, and if so, if we are only months away from the 3 years it is prorated coverage (not the entire cost)?
Hi folks a few battery questions for my 2022 Mojave because the main battery went dead a few days ago:
1) Does it have an AGM main battery (the one in the engine)? I can't read anything on the battery because it is covered by a cloth material and the manual doesn't say much about the batteries...
Thanks Everyone for your comments. I'm surprised that the batteries tend to fail after only 3 years, but I shouldn't be I guess with all the extra stuff they put in vehicles theses days...I'm going to give it a week to self extinguish, and if it doesn't take it into the dealer.
Hi All, my service stop/start warning light (an A! with a circle without a bottom around the A) came on as I started up my Mojave today (2022 model). Have any of you had experience with this warning light? Is it the kind that (might) reset itself after some time/miles? Any experience as to what...
I have a (February) 2022 Mojave and I got my July Vehicle Health report from Mopar yesterday and it says: "Based on your Vehicle Data we predict you will need a battery soon". (And then offers a link to schedule service)...Does anyone know how Mopar can tell I "need a battery soon", and should I...
Not for me, as they are now a "solution" that is looking for a problem to solve with a lot of downside, at this time at least. If they are looking to convince people it is a better choice they better start with a new video, the one in the o.p. was pretty unconvincing....Maybe for my children's...
Thanks Guys, sounds like it is one of those things not much can be done about...And yep, tried it again this morning and the ORP loaded this time...Thank Goodness this is not a "key" app for surviving in the wilderness - good grief :)...
I have my annual maintenance in a few weeks I'll ask them...
Hi Folks went out for a short spin in the wild this morning...4WD, and as always pressed my favorate button, "OFF-ROAD+"...Jeep went into OR+ np, but UCONNECT told me the same thing every time I tried it (at least 4 times) when I was expecting the off road pages to initiate - somthing like this...
Well, if you don't rock climb and have no access to desert/beach or anyplace that you can drive fast and "bumpy" you don't need a Rubi or a MO or probably any jeep. That is the best trade you can make! And if you still want a (second) Jeep, go for the the entry model as it will meet all your needs.
