It's definitely tight. The top edges are pressing into the panels.

I have the base audio. The 10" fits easily in that space but the 12" is sandwiched and pushing on the rear trim when the seat is latched upright.

Replaced a Kicker Hideaway 10" with the 12". Pretty decent improvement and the harnesses just happen to be the same. I currently have it behind the rear seat but it's really pressing on that rear panel when the seat is latched. Might end up removing the rear panel for some more room. Also...
