So I was driving past my Jeep Dealership the other day when I saw a beast Overlanding Glad...I checked it out and saw it was done by RMT and was one of their Overland Build-Outs. I have never heard of them but they had a couple of mods that I REALLY want...the main one being the light mounts on...
No clue, that's why I posted here. I lost about 8 MPG after I installed the Tazer & 33inch all-terrain tires. I'm a newbie Jeep owner so maybe that difference is normal?
So I tried the methods listed then checked out the speedometer and it was dead on!... But I still am getting GARBAGE milage and shifting isn't as smooth.
Hello fellow Jeepers!
I bought 2021 Gladiator 3.6L V6 and put the new Mickey Thompson LT275/70R18 Tire, Baja Boss A/T (WHICH I LOVEEEEE)
But I got a Tazer, programed it to the size of the tires and it has RUINED my MPG and my Jeep isn't shifting right...any ideas?
I knew I would take a hit...
Got them put on and love them! Unfortunately, I found out that the spare wheel isn't 18in and a 17in so I have to buy another 18in wheel which kinda sucks but oh well!
Also, the thing feels like I am driving a tank now and def more sluggish lol should I get a Tazer and calibrate my Glads...
When you say "imminent death" that makes me nervous lol are you teasing me or will I be ok for the life of the tires? I don't want to mount them then have to switch wheels at a later time. Hah!
Do you know off the top of your head if the 275/70r18 Baja Boss's will fit stock Gladiator Overland wheels? I am thinking about just running them stock now and throwing that $1600+ into other projects for the Glad
So after doing a ton of research I have decided on going with the new Baja Boss AT LT275/70R18 - the warranty is great - it is severe snow rated (I live in New England) - all the reviews say they are nice and quite etc etc...
I am still looking for some good wheels to have wrapped by this...
