What did you have to do to fix the exhaust leak? Once you put everything back in place did the leak go away? I'm dealing with a similar situation, but when I put it all back together with a new gasket the leak is still there, albeit much better than it was.

That's where my confusion stems from! When reading the description of the stud itself, it makes it seem like you don't need anything else. If I only used the stud and not a clamp, the stabilizer wouldn't function correctly, right?
