Those are the same ones I had on my first JT. They did the job, but certainly weren't no RBs.
The only thing I didn't really care for was how the rear lacked support, as the wheel well liner is some seriously flimsy plastic, so the only real support is along the outside fender molding.
I've...
My Freedom Edition is simply a Sport S Gladiator with the 24F package, which includes the steal bumpers and side rails, along with the LED lights and a few other add-ons.
I highly doubt Jeep did anything different to the suspension to accommodate the steal bumper.
I didn't notice any difference...
I installed this on my Freedom Edition, which has the metal skid plate bolted to the underside of the bumper, just like the Mojave and had to cut slots on either side of the skid plate to accommodate the mounting bracket hardware to the frame, but it wasn't too much work.
I added my Hooke Road side steps to my '23 Freedom edition.
They have re-engineered these since the last set I had on my '21.
They have contoured the bars to fit the cab better, as the previous ones where just straight, making the rear side stick out a bit more, showing the under seam where...
I plugged it back in to make a better video and the lights were flashing from green to red when it was moved, so it was certainly sending info outbound.
The red wire was spliced into a gray wire on the back side of the OBD-II port and the other wire was grounded to the front of the OBD-II...
Found it...will have to pull the wiring out later today when I have more time.
It was certainly active, as when I was moving it around, it would flash from green to red.
With the push of the federal government to mandate tracking technology to be put in vehicles to "detect driver impairment and disable the vehicle in that scenario. ", I would just bet companies like Apex are certainly lobbying to get these types of laws in place, as it will guarantee a life long...
Yeah, they were trying to get me to accept it, explaining that it helps law enforcement locate stolen vehicles and provides faster recovery. I found one video of Apex marketed in India showing the user can disable the vehicle using the app you install to track it.
Last week, I traded in my '21 Freedom for a '23 Freedom to take advantage of the 15% discount.
One of the line items on the dealer's price sheet included an Apex GPS tracking device that was nearly $1000 add on.
I told them I didn't want it and wouldn't pay for it, but they explained that it...
I just traded in my '21 Freedom for a '23 Freedom and was really motivated by the 15% discount.
This one is lacking a few options my '21 had, but they are minor compared to the deal, so I won't miss them, as I rarely used them. I am really liking this Sarge Green over the Gray I had.
Never have.

It was running and ready to go. I used my remote to unlock the doors, pressed the brake and put it in Reverse to back out of the parking spot.
Yeah, I've never taken the doors off or unplugged the connections. I'm a bit boggled by the whole thing. Why the door locks...
The other day, my wife was sitting in the Jeep and tried to unlock the doors from the door panel, but nothing happened. She had to use the remote to get them unlocked, because she wasn't familiar with the manual mechanism.
A few days later while stopping at the local dollar store, as I was...
They are Hooke Road that were right at $400 delivered.
I like them very much, except the fact they don't contour to the body, so they show a bit too much seam towards the rear.
I fixed that by adding some rubber trim to hide the weld seam, which helped quite a bit...
I ended up getting the Tyger bull bar...
I had to remove my steel skid plate, as the ends protrude too far to accommodate the mounting hardware.
I will be cutting the ends off of the skid plate so it will fit between the mounting points.
