I love the look of it. You mention 8 mounting points but I can't find any pictures or install videos. Do the wrap around steps link to the frame like the rubicon rock sliders?
Thanks for the clarification.
Maybe you can look when you get back but in your pic, it looks like the plastic wasn't removed in order for the fenders to go in its place
It looks like you didn't remove the plastic fender vent and it was interfering with them going into place. I'm interested in putting them on my jeep. How have they held up?
Not that I'm aware of. Stuck with a big open hole for now. You might be able to find some kind of a lock box to put in there or make something pretty easy though
I just installed the full width RR Venator. I love the look but am also a little disappointed with the thickness and coverage from the lower section skid plate. The sway bar disconnect seems really exposed and the stock steel skid was way sturdier... The winch tray support bracket also just...
Looking forward to the pics. I pulled the trigger and installed this over the weekend. Need to fill the gap while I save up for a winch. Thinking about putting a winch fund donation box in there ?
I know it would piss a lot of people off but my dream setup would be if they had designed it blending the cab to bed with a chevy avalanche style fold down bulkhead allowing full length tops and a lot of other configurations such as 3rd row seating. Way too expensive and difficult to make a...
I love it! Did you end up finishing a plate to cover the winch? That's exactly what I had in mind but maybe a light bar instead of the hoop. Also where did you mount the controller?
This looks great!
How are you liking this bumper? Has it held up well over time? Do the wings seem at least as strong as the factory bumper
I love the look and price isn't bad. Also looks like you're running 37s on stock wheels. How much lift/level are you running? Any wheel spacers or...
Do you have any more info on the white one? Really want those rims on mine. Curious if he's got a little lift or wheel spacers? Also if the load ratings are similar.
I ordered a rough country and was surprised by the poor quality even with the price difference. Now I'm between the RR Armis with Line-X because I'm convinced it will hold up really well. The guy at Morrison's4x4 that I spoke with was trying to encourage me to get the Bakflip MX4. Has anyone had...
@Bestop if you are creating a full soft top with more secure hard back window it would be great to know before I go and cut a hard top up to create it. The smaller opening with the sunrider for hard top just doesn't give me the top off convertible feeling I wanted the jeep for even though it is...
Both soft tops are made by bestop so the full soft top opening is also called a sunrider not just the one that goes up front in place of the freedom panels (sunrider for hard top). I didn't like the amount of the opening the sunrider for hardtop takes up either
I've had the soft top on for two weeks and my Jeep was already broken into. So increased security is the main reason. I'm also going to reduce the buffeting and pops that happen on the road. I also want the full open to for all 4 seats.
The rear window will be much harder to remove but still...
Has anyone attempted to create a hybrid top using a hard top rear section and the full sunrider soft top? I've got both tops and am tempted to start cutting away but want to see if anyone else has before I get started. I'll attach pictures of what I'm going for.
