Anyone have any issues with installing these? Right now I have my P/S on mostly but I have a huge gap from the flare to the body. I still need to push in the front two bolts by the light, but I don't see that getting rid of the gap.

The gap isn't as big anymore but still not a perfect fit. A few of the holes don't match up still with the holes on the body. I think a couple can be fixed by redrilling some more.

how's the light holding up? I've read that some have had water collecting inside the light.

They seem to be pretty good.

It looks like you didn't remove the plastic fender vent and it was interfering with them going into place. I'm interested in putting them on my jeep. How have they held up?

I think that may be part of the fender flares? I'm away and don't remember it completely. They're very stout. Love the look. I wish they made non metal ones with the same appearance. It would be nice to go off reading more and metal fenders aren't ideal for that.

Thanks for the quick response!

Yeah, it looks like step 4 is to pop the fender vent plastic off the jeep before installing them: https://www.quadratec.com/sites/def...gler-jl-gladiator-jt-install-instructions.pdf

Have they scratched easily or do you mean so they could bump stuff and flex rather than damaging? I may consider spring them with line-x if the paint isn't very durable ?

I believe from my very limited research on here and the JL forum they will take the entire fender with them if they say get caught on a tree. Where the non metal ones will just get ripped off and you're only short the flare. Paint seems very durable though.

I'm almost 100 percent they come with the plastic vent thing. I'm overseas and can't really remember, but pretty sure they're built on them.

Thanks for the clarification.

Maybe you can look when you get back but in your pic, it looks like the plastic wasn't removed in order for the fenders to go in its place

That will be awhile, I'm overseas now. I'm pretty sure they came off. Almost positive they have them attached to the flares. I will say, and I believe I stated it in this thread there were a couple of holes which didn't line up at all. In fact the bottom one on my DS is held by a ziptie because the holes weren't even close. It was annoying listening to it bang against the fender.

Again, I think they look great and I'm glad I purchased them.
