I've been using the Cooltech mount with a Comet CA-2X4SR for ~2 years and have zero complaints, it's worked well and has been through a few car washes when I forget it was there. I do a couple of nets each week from the Jeep and get out really well in the Atlanta metro area.
I don't think they do, no. They're sort of a hybrid step/slider themselves, attaches in all 4 spots on the pinch seam and at three spots underneath the frame so I don't think there would be any room. I don't know how well they would hold up relative to the rubi sliders but they're fairly beefy.
Hi all, I'm considering regearing my JT and have recently relocated to the Ithaca area from Atlanta. Any recommendations on good shops? I'm open to anything within a few hours, further if an especially good shop I can rely on in the future.
Over the weekend, I swapped out the N-FAB nerf rails for the Quadratec Brute Strength Side Steps and love them, very solid and seemingly well-made. The kids have no issues using the slightly higher step surface and it’s been good in the rain so far. Sorry for the potato pics, been raining here...
Swapped out tires/wheels to AEV Salta XRs and 35x12.50x17 Duratracs. Previously had Black Rhino Armory wheels and Mickey Thompson ATZ P3s, and I’m much happier with the offset. I ran Duratracs on my 2009 JK for 8 years, can’t beat them.
