Decided to sell to a dealership, so anyone wanting to buy this will have the opportunity to get it from Koons.
For those interested, $38k is what it ended up going for. Incredible time to buy a used Gladiator haha
lmao i went to O'Reily and bought some scooter mirrors for $8 a piece. Same thread size as the bolts in the front quarter panels, so I pop one out on each side and screw it in.
They do bounce a bit, but hold up to the wind since they were designed for scooters and motorcycles. They work well...
Where is the antenna going?
Remove it from the body...
But seriously this shouldn't be a surprise, this was essentially announced last year when the Wrangler did it for the 2024 models. There's no way the Gladiator was going to stay different.
Selling my 2022 Gladiator Mojave with only 10k miles! Asking $42,500.
It’s a manual transmission.
Located in central Virginia. Clean title in hand.
Packages & options:
Rokblokz mudflaps
Cold weather package (heated seats, heated steering wheel)
Leather seats
LED lights
tow package
Spray in bed...
I'm here to watch the engine swap into your 2022.
But if you think Jeep is going to make this generation of Gladiator with a hurricane... I would not get your hopes up.
The Gladiator doesn't have the sales volume to warrant making a special high output variant. Couldn't even get a 392 in it...
I like my Gladiator, but the manual Mojave I have is missing a bit of get up and go. Part of that could be solved by regearing, part of it could have been solved if I had just ordered the automatic. Those are sensible solutions.
Instead I have ordered a 2024 Wrangler 392. I figure if I'm going...
True, factored in that cost to own would be depreciation which higher mileage accelerates.
Presumably adding 15k miles per year to a car would devalue that Gladiator more than a 15 year old civic simply because the civic just isn't worth as much to begin with.
But idk I also just really like...
No offense, but I don't think you or anyone can tell if the hood bulge is a functional or non functional hood scoop from the grainy teaser picture.
I would bet that preview is not a 392 though I wish I were wrong
True!
I have it in my head that if you're going to do 35's or 37's or whatever the diesel will be less negatively impacted by that added unsprung weight, but I base that off 0 science and entirely assumption
Well now those would be very good options too
The B58 engine cars (all those _40i's) are the sweet spot. Incredible engine but don't quite have to pay the M tax or worse have competition suspensions that beat the crap out of you (ask me how I know lol)
Mojave on 35's with a manual trans: 13 mpg city and 15-17 highway.
The automatics seem to be a bit better
Mojave's and Rubicons have the same gearing
If you want fuel economy in a Gladiator the ecodiesel is the engine for you. That will get 28 mpg highway.
But I have heard they can be...
My prediction is they will run out this model's lifecycle then not replace it, and instead focus on the Dodge Dakota or whatever they call their mid size truck.
The only way the Gladiator gets a 2nd generation is if it heavily shares parts with the new mid size truck and wrangler... but even...
I had Bilstein 5100's on my Nissan Titan and liked them. They weren't like ground breaking in terms of changing the ride or anything, but they were a solid pick for a low price. A couple years ago I had gotten a set for $350 off amazon, though they're nearly $500 now. They were just replacing...
Ended up going with option 1; trading it in for something faster. In this case I've ordered a 2024 Wrangler 392.
I'm def going to miss having the pick up bed, but I think I can live without it. There's a U-Haul just down the street for the rare occasions I need to rent a trailer.
