It rained all night last night and I didn’t get one drop of water on the inside. I’m overall really impressed with the top. I was able to take some more pictures today.
It’s starting to smooth out now that is been out of the bag for a while. It’s the same material as the one soft top. But I agree it’s not the most beautiful piece of the top.
Yes. You can fold it over the rear seats. It doesn’t need any additional straps. It designed for the back to fold under the front. It even has a designated space for the window and side panels to be placed when the top is folded.
I purchased this Rugged Ridge Voyager top a few days ago so I figured I would give a brief write up on it just in case anyone else is considering buying it.
I ordered the top directly from rugged ridge and got a $100 mail in rebate. Upon opening the box I was less then thrilled with the initial...
Update: Jeep finally thinks they have a fix.
Jeep sent its techs to the dealership to diagnose the issue. They believe that one of the cylinder heads are bad( I’m not sure which one it is)
The service tech told me they are having a cylinder head overnighted and should be arriving tomorrow. So...
When I get the truck back from the dealer I’m going to try to see how everything fits. If it’s too awkward or would take too much work I may end up buying a soft top and soft doors. I just hate the way the soft top sits when it’s open.
I tried to search for this, but couldn’t find anything.
Is it possible to remove the freedom top and doors and somehow fit them in the bed of the truck, or maybe the top in the bed and the doors on a modified hitch carrier?
I honestly should’ve purchased the dual top option, but I didn’t. So...
she could’ve just been saying that to pacify me. My wife Was really letting her have it on the phone, but her and the dealership have admitted that they still can’t diagnose the problem. Other then the P0300 code. They really have no idea what’s going on or causing the misfire.
She said it’ll...
I had a 2013 jk. That went through 2 transmissions and 2 starters before 80000 miles. I have a 21 gladiator the I’ve only been able to put about 60 miles on because it’s been back at the dealership getting repaired since the days I purchased it. I would say they are way past “quality issues”...
Update:
I spoke with customer service who said that she is going to speak with her bosses about a possible buyback or replacement. Has anyone ever dealt with this before? Possibly know the process and what happens with the loan. Do they pay off the vehicle and I start a new loan or does my...
Update….
I spoke with Jeep customer service yesterday evening. They told me that the techs from my dealer did reach out to the engineers at Jeep to try to diagnose the issue. She also said she would contact the dealer directly to find out any info she could and also try to get me into a loaner...
damn. Sorry you had to deal with all that. My first ever vehicle was a
damn, sorry you had to deal with all that. I’ve heard Toyota service and corporate was a major PITA to deal with. But not to that extent. Glad you are ok. Elk are huge.
