maybe one day but Im getting 23.5 MPG and its my daily so I would hate to hurt that. its been bullet proof for 80K miles with the exception of a self induced ground issue.
I didn't re-gear my rubicon for 37s it pulls them just fine but mine is a diesel. I did install the Metalcloak Gamechanger and it was the best decision I made, it actually drives better. I don't pull a trailer much if I did I would re-gear.
the factory Falkin 33" tires that my Rubicon came with were absolutely great. I would still have them if I didn't up to 37" BFG's that I got a great deal on. I swapped them out at 50K miles, and they still had 10 to 20K left on them. If the BFG's don't work out, I'll be going back to Falkin.
my Rubicon actually drives better after the Metalcloak 3.5 gamechanger lift with shocks. I can't brag on it enough. I'm running 37" no rubbing. i had factory tires on it for 15000 miles before going to the 37" and it really did drive better.
yea it tries to start. it's not grinding or skipping it is turning the motor over just like it should 99% of the time hard and fast until it doesn't. then it's just chick turn once or twice then nothing. reset to off and try again and it works fine. until it doesn't ever work again. the last...
I tested the old starter, and it was shorted to ground but not a hard short. I saved it because I didn't think it was the starter. and then after testing it I thought I might find a good shop to rewind it. not sure if it's the stator or rotor is grounded. haven't gone into it. but the new one...
put a new starter on it and haven't had any issues for 9000 miles, But its starting to act up again. 3 no starts in 3 weeks. the last time it took 4 try's to get it to start.
remote started my jeep got in it drove to church to take my wife to lunch. shut it off went inside to get my wife, came back and the starter dragged like a low battery and would not turn fast enough to crank. tried a few times. came back after lunch with jumper cables, made no difference still...
A pink gladiator, I am embarrassed. think I'll go shoot a gun or catch a fish or build an engine or blow something up with Tannerite. yea I'm feeling better already
I bought this one and its perfect. I can't see any difference from a factor filter. it even has the prefilter. check out Ebay and search for Air Filter A21779 for Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Wrangler with 3.0L Diesel Engines (for $18.00 you can't beat it. the local parts houses didn't have one and the...
my 2021 3.0, a year old this month, with 40,000 miles has given me no issues as of today. everything is original except the metalcloak gamechanger lift, sidestep bars, front bumper and front fenders, the last two because a wood goat wanted to cross the street. no complaints so far. oh, and...
I bought the 3.5 gamechanger it was easy to install, and it actually seems to drive better. I'm impressed with metal cloak. I would have gone with the 2.5 if they offered it at the time.
my only beef is you can't buy an air filter for the 3.0. even the local jeep dealer cant get them. guess ill have to buy a cold air intake to get a filter
My stock diesel gets 24-25 average. but the def consumption is crazy. i have 15K on my 2021 and on my 4th jug that I put in. would love to delete that nonsense in about 20K miles. and a good trans tune would be great too. I drive in manual most of the time to keep it from down shifting all the time.
I like my 3.0 rubicon, but if you are trading in a 2.8 colorado you will be disappointed. Or at least I am. the 2.8 got better milage around 29 average for me. the 3.0 gets 24 average. the 2.8 was quicker than the 3.0 but the 3.0 is way better looking and will go places the 2.8 would squat and...
