Same, wife is 5'4'' and I'm 6'6'' so I always have to plan the deployment steps for my builds lol!
Measurments with the Clayton Overland Plus 3.5" kit, Falcon 3.3 Fast Adjust Shocks, and Yokohama Geolander M/T's in 37x12.50R17's. Rig is a 2021 Mojave. Pics include measurements from the steps...
Congrats dude, rig looks awesome! You'll love that kit and shocks.
Sorry I missed your last message on the steps. Let me dig through some photos. I actually took pictures of all the dimension including the steps deployed from ground before and after the 37's and 40's installed. Great for...
I was in the same boat when I started. I opted for the most logical build spec and sourced 37's. When I was looking at replacing the tires, mainly from age not tread, I sold the 37's and just had to do 40's  ! I couldn't be happier with the overall outcome. The added ground clearance and...
That's awesome and congrats! Hardest thing is starting right?! I'll check out the podcast and lookout for the channel. Love the logo too. I designed something similar for the brands I'm launching. Love the space and the people have been incredible at all the events, expos, and trails. Good luck...
Dude,
you're pretty clever with that mount! I had a similar dilema in that none of the manufacturers that make these style tents have solved the problem for mounting their awnings either. I had to start from scratch and design/build this set up with a local shop that does all my builds. Here's a...
I called Deaver and they referred me out to the vendor they use to supply orders for the Gladiators Directly. Nice guys, I just need to get by a weight station and send some info to them for quotes.
Clayton Offroad on the other hand, is in testing phase with 4.5" Springs for their Overland Plus...
I've heard good things about that set up. I'm researching it and a few others. Fortunately, i haven't felt like it's something I absolutely need, but am looking forward to it. I'm only assuming it's one of those things that once you have it you realize why :)
Not yet but looking at a few options for when I pull the axles for the Artec Truss Kits & new RCV 300M front cv’s. I’ll also be adding a 2.5 ton steering kit or upgrade since it’ll be all apart. Stay tuned! Always something to do!
Looks awesome. As for Gears, I have 5:13's with the 40's and it'll still pull 8th gear occassionaly. The stock 3.6 gutless engine needs a Hemi Swap from my perspective but that a whole other convo !
Glad the steering upgrade was positive. Any install notes or mods? Everything bolt up as expected?
Correct I added/upgraded to the Falcon 3.3 Fast Adjusts. On the suspension I have the Clayton Offroad 3.5" Overland Plus kit (Short Travel Version) and it's a tight fit on the 40's but clears. They (Clayton) have tested this kit with 40's on a few Gladiators already. In conversations with Lucas...
I have recently (last year) added the Falcon 3.3 Fast Adjust's all the way around. For comparison, I would spend the extra $$ and get the Falcon's hands down every time. I can't beleive how much of an improvement they made. During my original build, parts were scarce so I went with the Fox 2.0...
Have you taken the plunge yet or just referencing your RAM with the 5.7? I'm deep into the rabbit hole on this one and trying to finalize the decision. I'm pretty sure the extra spend on the 6.4 would'nt dissapoint once you hear and drive it though!
SO MUCH BETTER!
from a practical application standpoint, I haven't had it in as many off-road scenarios as I've had with the 37's but thus far the articulation and clearance has been fine. I am awaiting Lucas and the Team at Clayton Offroad to release their new 4.5" Springs for my 3.5" Overland...
Definitely. I saw your post on your experience. I have a buddy in NC that wants to do the swap as well. I was talking to him about road tripping down to MI to their new shop to check stuff out, and have both our Jeeps done at the same time, then flying out to pick them up for some trails and...
Congrats first off. Super interested in your outcome. I've been inbetween the new 5.7 and 392 myself. Looking to take the plunge this year and just get it done! I'm torn between the extra output of the 505 package but also don't need to destroy driveline with extra torque/hp as I'm on 40's...
Pricing isn't hidden. It's available everywhere. They're pretty straight forward to deal with as well. Dirt Cred (YouTube) also has a few recent vids on the newest 5.7 swap offering covering the build in detail and costs associated. They also have a discount code available for a small (couple...
It's the shorter Mid Height Option also incorporating their Tonneau Cover adapter brackets that raise it 3" or so. I'm running the BAK X4S cover and highly recommend for fitment, ease of use, and solid surface with nice texture. I ofter utilize it as an extra shelf when working off the tailgate...
Absolutely! It's crazy how quickly it affects the fire even on the lowest settings! I'm also working on a couple other vids with it around the campsite I'll be sharing soon! Air up camp pillows, sleeping pads, blowing out the tent, cleaning out the seats/mats of the rig. So many uses it's a...
I can definitely say from First Hand Experiene in working with Florent and the Team at WolfBox that these products and this giveaway are incredible! This last year I've added this new G900 Tri Pro Camera system to my rig and it's insane the difference it makes on the trails, parking, navigating...
Here's a throwback vid to when I first started the project with the Gladiator. Such a trip to look back at memories made with my son. He's now 16 and we've had some incredible trips together with this project. His most recent was a beautiful backcountry Muley Hunt were we harvested his first...
