Well, Spoke with them today and they said I am number 16 on the list still, so about another 4 months or so. 9 months total, at least she is still running strong and no sign of issues.
How long has everyone been waiting at their dealer to get the recall done? I put my request in Nov23 at a Socal dealer, checked today and still no word. Is that about right, 5 months now? Assume since it’s in a larger city maybe.
Just did an 1100 mile trip from San Diego up to the Bay area and back. 21.3 MPG average for the entire trip. That's with wife, two kids, bed full of Christmas presents and old baby stuff. Oh and did I mention I am on 40s with heavy ass fusion kingpin 60s. I never thought decent gas mileage and...
I have a Rock Krawler 3.5 inch 3 link long arm front and the 3.5 inch x factor rear. As someone mentioned, I wanted a low CG lift with big tires. Also I have aftermarket fusion 60s, so I'm getting on the heavier side, (eventual JCR rear tire carrier and some sort of bed cage) hence why I wanted...
I am running 4.56 with 40 inch Patagonias and KMC 17 inch desert beadlocks. Puts it within 100 rpm of factory and no issues with power. The 442 lb ft of torque really makes difference. Try it with the 37's, worst case you want more and go maybe 4.10s.
2021 JTRD 3.5 inch RK 3 link long arm on the forklift. 3.5 inch front diesel springs and Fox 2.5 DSC shocks. 40 inch Patagonias on 17inch KMC bead locks.
Well, I sold my built 2 door, which I took everywhere so I could have a vehicle that could carry the wife and kids and all the camping gear. Then I built it like the two door and made plans to do the Rubicon. Well add the second kid, 2 jobs and a house and that dream slipped away quick...
I was put on waitlist for the recall at my local dealership about 2 weeks back .After calling for a few days with no call back, I went in and spoke with service. They apologized saying they are short staffed and have a large call/email backup. Ok, no problem, just wanted an update, which I got...
You would think checking the filter screens and then pulling some fuel samples and having them analyzed would be the easiest way to determine foreign debris within the system.
2021 JTRD, had the same issue after we got done putting the front long arm in. Had a sensor too close to the exhaust and melted wire. Replaced it, moved it and put heat shielding on no issues since. Same symptoms. Would start, but not shift or drive.
Honestly, I have had them on my JT for 2 years now. The passenger side started having issues, signal and break light wouldn't work unless the lights were on. Got a hold of their customer service dept, and within 2 weeks had a new taillight shipped. I installed it and the issue was resolved. For...
The oldest discussion in jeep off-roading. IMHO, if you are going to run 40s on stock/ near stock drivetrain, you have to be aware that there will be some limitations. Simple mechanics. Bigger tire equals longer moment arm from the center, add in huge amounts of low end torque with the diesel...
Sharpsicle and StoryG,
Thank you for the inputs. I haven’t had time to go out and check with the multimeter, makes sense something could be dropping voltage across the wiring harness. Another thing I did notice is the jeep is throwing a code for a bulb out, but for the front passenger...
Now, I’m even more confused. So I swapped the lights, driver to passenger, and passenger to driver. Everything works just fine as it should. Both turn signals and brake lights work. When I swap them back, same problem. Passenger only works with lights on. So maybe jeep side issue.
