Got mine done about 5 months ago. I hung a 40 off the back with a metal bumper, might be overkill but I don’t want to take any chances as my foot can get stupid sometimes.

Mine fits with brand new 40 nittos and the 3.5 rock krawler long arm kit. Now when it fits, it barely clears but it does. Had to move the track up with drilling a new hole about a 1/4 inch and that did it.

Don’t worry, I’ll add some HotShots before I clear myself hot in.

There is a ECM software update for this, just got mine scheduled for this Saturday. Supposedly fixes this Low oil pressure issue. I can’t find any info on google but the dealer was tracking it. It is covered under the 8 year warranty as considered part of emissions apparently. Anyone have any info?

This is what I did with my 40 spare. Works for me. Quick latch and swing it out of the way, adds maybe 5 seconds to opening the tailgate.

It’s due to dissimilar metals, aluminum doors and metal hinges and the fact that jeep, in their infinite wisdom bolted those steel hinges straight to the aluminum door then painted over everything. Go in get it warrantied and fixed. Mine got it, they should now be replacing the whole panel vice...

TSB. Hopefully the shim doesn’t corrode as they painted and cleared the hood so it no longer touches any bare aluminum.

Make sure they do new panels and do the TSB with the zinch shim. My dealer painted the whole panel, cleared it then installed shim and hinge. No way for them to make contact now. Jeep f’d up by bolting hinges on then painting over the whole assembly. Probably to save money, who knows.

I would say swap it and be done….. but I have a 21 JTRD 40s, fusion kingpin 60s full skids bumper tire carrier etc. still go 20.4 mpg from San Diego to Bay Area and back. Granted that’s if you keep it below 75mph. We shouldn’t even be talking that kind of mileage with 40s in the sentence, but...

You have an ADD W1 catch can? Doesn’t throw any codes/CEL for it? Could not get mine to not throw a code? Went with the EOC after messing with it for weeks.

Yea, it’s very surreal driving on, feels wrong since it’s California, but an amazing experience and view. Don’t worry though, the California Costal Commission tries everything in the book every year to get it shutdown. Not sure how they have kept it open, but glad they have.
