This. According to my dealer, the factory steering damper is not good in really cold weather. The dealerships are replacing the stock damper with an aftermarket damper.
First, I love the Toyo MT, and I realize it's an MT....BUT they are getting so loud I can't even hear the the radio at highway speeds. They have been maintained and rotated properly.
Ideas on a quieter tire, even an AT, are appreciated! Thanks guys!
Man, the curveball is freakin’ awesome! And if you get the tires properly prepped, the brush doesn’t get dirty at all! Just spray the dressing 2-3 sprays into the curveball and go to it. Literally maybe one minute per tire!!
So, applying a tire dressing quickly and neatly can be a challenge on a larger tire. I just got the Detail Factory curveball brush and it’s a game changer! Super easy to use and you can uniformly apply your favorite dressing very quickly!
I like using the OG tire dressing, as the finish is more...
I bought my Jeep Trackhawk at the end of my lease. Sold it for 25K over my end of lease purchase price. All in all I drove the TH for 38K miles and had it for 3.5 years, and it cost me only 3K after factoring in my resale!
2021 Gladiator, gasser. 950 miles on the clock so far. 35x12.50 Toyo Mts- 36 PSI all the way around. No lift. 4:10s. Speedo recalibrated and is maybe indicating .5 mph faster then actual speed when compared to my gps speed app (which was dead nuts on with stock wheels and tires), and this does...
Any brand can yield a "dud" from time to time. I took a chance on "new" 2011 Grand cherokee. Now my family is all MOPAR. I've owned many vehicles under the MOPAR brand since 2011 including currently a challenger Redeye, Ram 3500, GC, and GCL and a Gladiator, and have had only 2 small warranty...
Thanks buddy! It’s legit for sure. That was a little done, but that was my wife’s steak. That reverse sear will give you a larger central area of your preferred doneness!
You can search Ali Mansour on youtube, it was his research and actual experience on his Gladiator which led me to AEV. No rub with 35s and very little with 37s with no lift! AEV has 3 or 4 Gladiator specific wheels that allow up to a 12.50 with very little poke. Of course for much rock crawling...
So, I have a few grills, including a Recteq RT-700 pellet grill, a Blackstone 36" griddle, and a simple Weber Kettle. I've been "reverse" searing my thick cuts of steak, and chops lately and I'm loving the results!
Last night I reverse-seared some thick filets, starting with bringing them up...
I'm running AEV Salta-XR wheels, which are Gladiator specific with the backspacing and offset to allow very little tire poke, with Toyo MT 35x12.50s. Interestingly, I had originally ordered satin black wheels....but they sent the Onyx color, and it matches perfectly with the granite crystal...
