  1. Leaking rear glass and dealer issue

I'm not positive the top will be billed to Jeep since the warranty repair was for the glass replacement and the glass company the dealer used caused the damage thats requiring the replacement. I'm pretty sure the glass company is footing the bill, but I have no idea. I'm 100% done with this...
  2. Leaking rear glass and dealer issue

Update So I confirmed through Benny and the Dealer and Jeep that the replacement top is a factory Mopar part and whoever told me it was from a company called targa was wrong, so thats good. I've been waiting almost a month for the top to show up with no calls and when I call I'm told it's on...
  3. Leaking rear glass and dealer issue

I'm going to call on Monday and see if I can get a part number for what they ordered and reach out to Benny. Thanks
  4. Leaking rear glass and dealer issue

Short version: Dealer damaged my hardtop replacing the glass and is replacing it with one made by "targa" who they say is the company that makes the tops for Mopar. Does anyone know if this is accurate? Long version: Over the summer I noticed I had the dreaded rear glass leak in my hardtop and...
  5. Holiday spirit w/out the scratches

The stand is just what came with the tree, so nothing fancy. The paracord thats wrapped around the legs unwraps and secures to the lower tie down points in the bed. There are 2 more cords that are halfway up the tree right above where the 2 parts of the tree attach. These help with the tree not...
  6. Holiday spirit w/out the scratches

I did this last December. I didn't take pictures of how I secured it, but I tied the stand to the 4 corners with paracord and then 2 more support cords from midway up the tree to the front lower attachments points of the bed. It stayed secure all month through rain and snow and with speeds up to 80.
  7. ExtremeTerrain and aftermarket TPMS

I bought a set from rockauto for around 25 or 30 dollars and they worked as soon as I pulled out of the tire shop. 20k miles on them and zero issues
  8. Help me survive a trip out west

Night temp. I've camped in moab in the summer and the nights are usually perfect for sleeping. We camped end of July once and it was 106 in the day and mid to high 80s at night and was awful. It really just depends on the temp and cloud cover. Get some battery powered fans
  9. Help me survive a trip out west

https://maps.app.goo.gl/kwhJErkof4rDKJvv9 Here's some pretty easy Dino tracks to get to and there's camping right there. One thing to know for this spot is it was recently redone and now you have to pay to camp (I think it's 15 a night), but you'll get a picnic table and fire ring and there are...
  10. Help me survive a trip out west

Couple things to add for the moab portion at least. Water - There's a few gas stations in moab (maverick are our go to) that have free potable water, so don't stress whatever so much, but make sure you have more than you think. You will go through water pretty quickly especially if you're not...

  12. Broken Gladiator Trail Repairs by Trailmater

I seem to remember the fraud thing with Matt being something like that customers had AAA or something similar and their coverage didn't cover if you're off the pavement so he was billing the companies for on road towing so the customer didn't get stuck with the bill. He does a ton of good for...
  13. Exposed shock reservoir (Mojave)-- how concerned would you be?

That looks like my bumper (rugged ridge HD stubby) and with a little cutting you can get the factory skid on. It would probably be a good idea if your doing high speed off road stuff.
  14. Trailering \ Towing Question

I have the aev 2" spacer lift for the Mojave.
  15. EZ Flate 4 tire inflation system

Side note I forgot to add. I did not have their compressor so I can't comment on that, but it seemed very similar to a lot of other ones I've seen. I grabbed a viair off Facebook marketplace for half price and it aired up 4 37s from 18 to 36 in about 15ish minutes
  16. Trailering \ Towing Question

Air Lift 1000 Air Suspension Kit 60830 https://a.co/d/eyJA4gn This is what I ordered and ran the air hoses to the license plate bolts for easy access
  17. EZ Flate 4 tire inflation system

A few weeks ago at the salt lake off road expo I stopped at the ez flate booth and talked to the owners about their 4 tire inflation system. They were very nice and answered all of my question and I had a chance to play with their system and found it very easy to use. It was a little more than I...
  18. Trailering \ Towing Question

You should be fine as long as you are ok with being slow and getting poor gas mileage. I've towed campers several times now with 37s on my mojave with stock gears and it's not terrible. I just got back from moab and the camper we had was about 3500 dry and we had it loaded with 4 days of gear...
  19. Portable KCup coffee maker

https://www.scheels.com/p/kuju-coffee-bold-awakening-dark-roast-pour-over-6pk/19592-KUJU-BA-06.html?cgid=all#start=3 I use this when camping. Just boil some water and pour it over these. Taste great and easy cleanup
  20. New camper specs

The Mojave has a "softer" suspension than the rubicon. It's not a strength of the axle thing, but a suspension thing. WDH will help a lot and possibly airbags like you've read. I have airbags sitting in my garage to install once I get a chance and I'm heading camping the beginning of April so...
