I did rivnuts on bed floor for a bed slide. It worked, but the metal is really thin. If I did it again I'd probably use washers or cook up some kind of reinforcement.
I've really enjoyed the Eibach on my JT. I will say after 3k miles and adding heavy AEV wheels, they now feel softer than I prefer. The rebound from wheel mass is a little beyond Eibach's capacity. I have a diesel too so that has some to do with it.
It's definitely subjective. I prefer a...
Seen that done many times. The Rhino is the most popular choice. Frontrunner has a rack that works and Leitner just came out with something too I think.
People even mount racks over tonneau covers. Do it. It will work great.
Eibach might be what you want. I prefer Bilstein 5100's myself, but I had to Eibach on my most recent replacement since Bilstein in factory ride height is impossible to get these days.
Eibach is firmer than Fox, but softer than Bilstein. I'm pretty happy with the ride. It's smooth as Cadillac...
I've had this thought for quite a while too. The Agricover looks like the closest option that maybe could be adapted, but I think it would be sketchy.
The Flated topper is probably our best option for this even though it may not be the best looking. It has a quick setup and it's easy to store...
This sound is from the HVAC Temperature Valve Actuator Mopar part 68301847AA.
It's behind the glove box. That third screw in the rear is a b1tch to get out. I left it out when replaced.
I had the clicking sound for months until I replaced this part. Pretty common failure point on Chrysler...
How much weight do you plan to carry on it? I had a Bed slide and loved the utility, but I hated the extra weight it added. It also ate up quite a bit of vertical space if you have any kind of bed cover.
I eventually sold it and now have a Tmat. The Tmat will slide out with items on it, but...
I recommend the Timber Grove Enterprise air bags, but that comes with a loss of articulation if that matters to you.
Better springs is the ultimate answer.
Upgrade to the Helwig rear sway bar.
Using a weight distribution hitch will help and is highly recommended for the weight you're...
I think that's pretty awesome. Now I'm gonna be that guy. Stretch it, leave the four doors, drop a V8 in it. It would make a great fire/emergency vehicle.
American Adventure Lab makes a half height canopy like that. The Pic you posted looks like a Chinese copy. A good looking copy though. Try Alibaba and see what pops up.
Oops...you already did that.
