I have had mine since spring and love them; however, over the last month it’s developed some rusty looking spots where the top plate meets the tube. This is on both sides, almost the whole length of the sliders. Haven’t used them in salt water, salty roads, or even deep puddles just normal rain...
Finally got my sliders installed. I ordered the flat slider with the top plate. First impression is that these are beefy, I’d have no doubt they will protect the Jeep. They are low enough to give a nice step but not lower than the frame so it shouldn't hurt ground clearance. They were packaged...
I had them in my 2018 Silverado, they were made by covercraft which is a reputable brand. The quality, clean ability and durability were exceptional. My only complaint was, in that truck, they were a pain to install since the seat backs did not fold.
finally got around to giving the jeep a proper hand wash with some V07, sealed the paint with Chemical Guys Blacklight followed up with some butter wet wax. I’ve used this combo on all my black vehicles (my wrx, Silverado, and wife’s ascent) and the blacklight keeps everything so that I only...
the aftermath of taking the wife and kids out in the snowstorm today. Haven’t had a chance to drive it bad/snowy roads yet, needless to say it performed flawlessly
I had rallyarmor flaps on my STI (same material and design type) and they were great. Looks like they are “in development” stages for jeep vehicles. The rallyarmor flaps Mounted via the inner fender liner mounts so it was a PITA to install but looked very clean and tidy once it was done. Mine...

picked up a bunch of trim and lumber for some home projects- one of my major reasons for going gladiator over wrangler was the utility of the bed and it didn’t disappoint
Spacer lift is the way to go it seems for you. It’s cheap, effective, and nets around 1.5-2”. You can clear 33s so you get a bigger tire look but keep road manners.
something like this teraflex kit:https://www.quadratec.com/p/teraflex/15-performance-spacer-leveling-kit-gladiator-jt
3.5” rubicon express
bilstein shocks
35x12.5” wrangler duratracs
no rub and tires stick out about 1.5” from the edge of the fenders. Haven’t had the chance to test the flex yet but it has surprisingly good on road manners.
Long time lurker here and finally a member. Bought this gem two days ago from a local dealership, truck was built and traded within a year. Their loss=my gain.
