Hi everyone. I’m new to the forum and I pick up my new ‘22 gladiator on Monday. I am going to lift it but don’t want it to look crazy…have a wife that needs to drive it also and she doesn’t want to look to obnoxious. Is there such thing as a 1.5” lift or is the minimum 2”? I saw a silver gladiator on this site posted STK ? It was perfect. Any help and pics to share is greatly appreciated. Thank you all!

Congrats on your gladiator and welcome. What kind did you get (trim/color)? I have a 21 Willys Sport. I’m also in south Florida and I haven’t lifted it. The way I use mine, with the 32 BFGs it came with it works for my needs now. However, I think there are spacer lift kits you could check out or you could always buy rubicon take offs (assuming you didn’t buy a rubicon or Mojave). I got an MT so my wife wouldn’t drive it ? Congrats and enjoy your new JT and modifying it to meet your needs.

You may get the look you want by swapping the suspension with a Rubicon setup. Then maybe adding a 1.5” Teraflex spacer level kit up front and the Daystar 3/4” spacer lift in the rear…I see a lot of people on the forum running this set up.

If you have a Rubicon or Mojave, you really don't need to lift it for larger tires.

Welcome and congrats on the new ride. You'll get a ton of great info on this forum. You can learn a lot from our mistakes. :CWL:

Ultimately it would really depend on how you intend to drive it (i.e. mainly on-road, mild/heavy off-road, etc.), and what your budget is. Spacers are an inexpensive way to gain some height/clearance. IMO, if you absolutely want a lift, the 2-inch Mopar lift is a solid upgrade for most people. I've run this lift on my last 2 Jeeps and it's perfect for what I need.

Good luck, and go get some mud on that thing. Post pic's when you get it.

I'm new as well and had a specific purpose for my JT from the day I ordered it. As such I got a Rubicon and for a while will be leaving it at the stock height and tires because I will be towing a TJ on a trailer.

So far my expensive purchases have not necessarily been upgrades to the JT, but things I will be using with the JT and then I have added a couple of nice things.

Towing and Camping additions
18' Appalachian Trailer
Fishbone Offroad FB22150 Tackle Rack Half Height
iKamper SkyCamp Mini

Modifications
Z Automotive Z-TZR-JLM Tazer JL Mini Programmer
Quadratec 16" Hi Performance AM/FM Stubby Antenna
Quadratec Flashlight Holder with Quadratec Flashlight
Quadratec Ultimate All Weather Floor Liners
Touchscreen Protector
Bedrug Rear Bed Mat Liner
WeatherTech 3TG15 TechLiner Tailgate Liner

Planned Upgrades
Fender Flare Chop or Replacements
Suspension and 35s will depend on how the vehicle does on 33s and if I need to add some help to the rear for sag.

Step 1 - choose a goal. Anyone can reply with their own personal preference, but what are you trying to accomplish with the lift? What is your budget? What compromises are you willing to make?

And congrats on the new truck!

A 2” lift and 35s doesn’t stick out or look weird. Looks like a Jeep that’s a truck that’s a Jeep.

granted, I’m in Texas so 2” is small.
