Newbie, what part is this?

Hey just picked up a used 2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport. It's already lifted and it's my first "jeep". I have a 2017 GC but there's obviously a big difference. My new-to-me JT has this strange looking part I don't recognize. It does not appear to have a function and I haven't noticed it in anyone else's pics. Can someone more tenured help me out?

Looks like a piece to mount your sway bar disconnect link when you unconnect it from the axle.

Look to see if you swaybar link has a Carter pin on the axle end.
