None, and there isn’t a pan that will change this. It does take longer for the fluid to get hot, but the way the cooling system (and warming) works with this transmission- unless you bypass the thermostat/block off the thermostat it will continue to operate between 180-200~. It uses the...
🤔 first I have seen this broken…. I would ask them to take the grill off to see if there is any other damages…. It’s like 8 push pins to remove the grill- 3 min tops…
I would insist, clean or not, a grill is easy to replace if there was front grill damage….. especially with folks changing to...
I have not seen or heard of anyone sleeving JT/JL axles like they did with JK’s. The axle walls are already thick- similar to the HD44 for the JK’s…. A truss aiding in support to the FAD should be enough.
Steering box brace kit- steer smarts or synergy…. And a pressure booster kit with a cooler for steering.
front driveshaft only if you are going with long enough front shocks to justify- otherwise just wait and replace if the issue comes up.
Are you set on that “kit”? Any reason why not to go...
Sway can be helped with shock type…
Tiny shudder is a guessing game…. Could be tires, could be any wear component on the suspension…. Fox tend to be on the softer side- bilstien's are cheap and a bit firmer- should help with the sway. But again, could also be any other wear item on the...
This…. And this is the best way to go for several reasons….
If you have the coin for a demon gladiator, talk with your cpa ;) they will condone this route as well.
The drain plug & filter are what drove my decision. I also went with the larger 2.2 added- not for cooling, but for the additional fluid…. More should take “that” much longer to be worn… 🤷‍♂️
Your above point of more capacity = longer cool down does apply. Though, I think the factory cooler...
Amsoil makes 6 different 5w40 oils…

So, which amsoil did you use?
which ever you choose it doesn’t look bad, but looks like pennzoil is doing better (based on the posts above)
Trans gears are the same- differential gears are where they are different, and the same?
Diesel all: 3.73’s
Gas 3.73’s, 4.10’s, and optional wrangler 4.56 for the X package.
They are actually geared the same. The significant torque difference just makes up for it….

^ ratios can be found here.
This is why I personally have a hard time understanding the size increase to differential gear conversations…. Not saying I would put 5.13’s...
The pre set tire deflators work- ish…. A core puller with guage usually gets the job done faster and is more accurate. While accuracy isn’t everything when deflating…. Depending on how low your going it is somewhat imortant.
we have had the Currie version of this for 20 years and still works...
Did you consider JW Speaker before kicking this one off? OEM is OEM and I can appreciate that, but the light temperature/color, and beam pattern of the JW’s are still hands down the best out there. (Miss ours from our JKU)
While I appreciate your dedication to this… a junk yard 60/sterling setup- and I may be wrong? People are coming up with creative solutions left and right, but the tone rings issue will leave your Jt/JL without traction control/abs/esc…
it’s a sound argument, a few dollars can be saved by a...
