Pulled right for a long time. Not as noticeable now, unsure if I’ve gotten use to it or if it’s loosened up. The stock stabilizer didn’t extend as strong, I could push it down with my hands. The Bilstein was really hard pushing in. I had to place against the ground and use quite a bit of force.
I’ve had it close to 2 years now. It’ll pull the wheel as it’s just a glorified shock always trying to extend. I’m sure it helps with bump steer and tightness, but it’s def not the best solution.
Yeah, I miss my full size just about every day. The Jeep is fun, but I really miss the interior space, bed space, towing capacity, smoothness on the road, etc.
Power sliding rear window
Wireless Carplay
Ventilated seats
Easier bed access
Standard LEDs
Higher capacity outlet in bed
Hood struts
Backup camera night performance
This is probably no help, but why don’t you just cancel if you’re not happy with Jeep. It’s going to leave a sour taste the whole time you own the vehicle. The dealership should understand the frustration and return the deposit if there was one.
My Jeep dealership sells the AEV Procal Snap. They will sell it at the same cost you can buy it for online and you install yourself or they will install for an extra $100.
We are in the market for a camper as well. I’ve been nervous about towing with the Gladiator as I have always had a full size. Good to see it’s capable enough for these trailers!
I have an early version of the cheaper option (black diamond). Sunrider is loud at highway speeds, especially if you have a head or crosswind. Not sure I’d ever take the Jeep on a long distance trip with the Sunrider on.
That being said, it’s a fun option 9 months out of the year in the south.
I too have considered trading in my Gladiator for something a little more luxurious. I was looking into a 2021 Ram 1500 Longhorn but I talked myself out of it when I saw the interest rates. It’s just silly.
If you’re looking for something stock, Facebook marketplace is an awesome place to find take offs. I got my Overland steps for free. Not gonna help on trails, but cuts down on mud and rocks getting thrown up.
If you’re going to lift it with springs, shocks, etc, is the lockers and red or orange accents really worth it? You’re taking off all the other goodies…
