Extreme Recon w/35s, full float, 5.7, would be a nice send off.
Will likely never see a V8 as no v8s are truly modern any longer except the v8s in Corvettes and Mustangs. I don’t see the financial sense investing in a new Hemi version.
Yes, I do like them a lot. If the troubleshooting doesn’t work, next stop is the main module. Luckily, I have a Gen 2 so the box is under the seat vs. individual ones at each motor that requires some step disassembly.
Northridge has a good troubleshoot vid. I'm going to disconnect each door sensor and test each door and magnet to identify which one is causing the problem.
Family loves the steps but sometimes wish I would have just gotten some White Knuckles or ACE sliders...
No dash lights or other electronic gremlins.
She starts up nice and strong and everything (including steps and ESS) were working great after the main replacement in Dec.
When the ESS stopped and steps acted up, I figured it was aux battery time.

I’ll bring the truck back only if approved and parts ready.
I am awaiting possible Good Will warranty coverage for some minor hood corrosion on my 2020 Gladiator as I just exceeded the 5 years by a few weeks. There is a process that requires the vehicle remain at the dealership during warranty consideration which can be several months.
The truck is my...
Good luck and have fun! Looking forward to updates. Would be interesting to get your average daily mpg and gas prices at each stop. Be prepared once you get to CA!
I bet Toyota guys have the same conversation when someone posts a SAS conversion.
Unlimited funds can pretty much get you want you want out of any Jeep or Toyota or any vehicle.
