Wow some interesting reads, In the early 70's we used a truck tire in the middle & looped chains to our vehicles. I was just thinking how lucky we were. but we never really sent it 100% & most of the time the tire acting like a bungee would just yank em out. There was my big invention WHY...
funny note on tracking, I traded in my 22 for a 23 with all those discounts at the time. The dealer had a Rubicon that was having issues & the owner demanded a Gladiator ( this was after waiting on his to be fixed for 3 months. long story short they loaned him my old Glad. I kept getting low...
I always kept an old jeep & a new Toyota truck. When the Gladiator came out I killed 2 birds with one stone. besides I hated the new Tacoma automatic (learning)transmission, that coming from a Toyota owner since 1987. In all fairness the Tacoma had a lot more bells & whistles for the buck.

I have owned Toyota trucks since the 80's & loved them all even my 2017 Tacoma ORDC except for the transmission. It sucked as it shifted all the time @ the wrong time it always seamed in the wrong gear. I ended up with a 2019 ORDC premium due to my dealer crashing my 2017. My 19 had all the...
