For those running powertanks, or some comparable CO2 rapid re-inflate system. Do you have to purge the tires and refill with air when you get home? I'm wondering if CO2 can have corrosive effects being inside the tire/wheel for a long time. Technically, it shouldn't react if there is no...
Those wrenches are a great idea ! I've been thinking about 3d printing the rash rings, as $40 / wheel is a bit absurd for plastic. I'll be sure to share the files of I do .
Do I need to jack up the tire to deflate without damaging the wheel and tire ?
Looking at the picture you posted, one...
It can. I haven't tested how low it goes. I've read 9psi to just above 20psi. But, the highest setting I've been able to achieve is somewhere between 15-17psi. At some point, I may try to disassemble the deflators....in hopes there is some sort of goop or gunk on the valve that is...
No lift yet (this week 3.5" game changer). Love the looks of the 37" grapplers with no lift, it only rubs slightly at full lock. Would definitely be in the fenders offroading though.
The Teraflex wheels look great. The deflators go all the way down to 15-17 psi at there highest setting...
I get 18.2mpg on gas '22 JTR with stock 33 falken ATs, with a RTT...mostly on flat 65mph freeway. The fuel economy variability people report with these JTs is rather astonishing.... especially when 37s come into play. What gives ?
Can anyone recommend a rear leveling kit that is compatible with the 3.5" GC lift? I'm going to have my GC professionally installed on my JTR, and then will do the leveling kit myself if I need to (i'm running a about 100lb of bumper/winch up front, and about 225lb of rack/tent in the back)...
Hi all,
I'm considering putting a 2.5" aev dual sport lift on my JTR with 37x12.5x17" ridge grapplers and 8.5" aev rims with 25mm of backspacing. I know this tire/wheel will work on the jks 3" lift (per ali monsour with driving line) at full stuff, but will it work on the shorter aev ?

Had the EXACT same thing happen to me when I was about to pass somebody (obviously, I had to abort the pass) in my 22 Rubicon with about 8k miles. Restarted the car, and it worked fine. Warning light went away on its own later that day. Checked with my obd...same codes. Did u take yours in...
Probably about $500 all in. The shipping from tnutz was like $90....which is unfortunate. I probably should have just paid the $1000 from extrusion-overland, but, owell....fun little project. Making the brackets took way longer than I wanted, but, It gave me an excuse to turn on my milling...
See below. Got about 2000 miles on these stock Rubicon tires (33" wild peak at3w) . Got the tiniest cactus or mesquite thorn through them yesterday. It's a slow leak ...but still a leak.
Am I correct in assuming that no one will fix this ?
If I am, I have 3 options.
1) move the spare...
