I checked that this weekend. On weaker FM broadcast signals I do hear the gain of the FM receiver cutting back while I'm transmitting, but not on the stronger radio stations. This is a common mobile radio antenna location for Jeeps, I haven't heard of anyone reporting any equipment issues.

Yeah, this wasn't meant to start a philosophical discussion on the merits of the different radio services. We're just sharing install ideas, antenna locations, etc. Maybe one of these days Jeep will reserve space for radios, it seems so many of us have them.
