From back when this was normal, windshield antenna is going to work better than any external one you can get short of a long pole cb style.
next windshield replacement, may swap my post out the other way.
that was the beauty of the jeep platform for me, even the gladiator in it's own way... a light nimble vehicle that can fill a ton of roles. if i wanted/needed a true 'tow monster' i'd want a much bigger platform.
my 99 sahara took me so many places and never let me down
if i hear a ticking, it's going to the shop to get checked out. early catch and they can just repair whatever rocker lost it's coating and is grinding your cam.
Ok, serious question. What changed in the pentastar 3.6 to move from 5w30 to 0w20? I mean this isn't a new design or new engine... so... why did it change?
bought a plug in module and never worried about it again, it is just always off. you'll get enough grey beards on here telling you this or that or engine tests or whatever.. like you i didn't like it and for less than a hundred bucks and 20 mins to install i no longer have to worry about it.
if i'm reading their faq right (link below) after 6 ess events the warning light will come on as the system detects voltages are not what they are expected to be... i.e. no more tiny battery, etc. an ess event is any time ess is active.
if you disable ess, there are no ess events and the light...
most painful... the auto start stop fix.... big hands and tiny space under the dash with lil connector snaps... lost parts of my thumb and donated some blood on that mod install
kbb will give you an estimate and actual offers from dealerships... depends how silly low their stock is could be worth it to just drop it off at one of them.
for the couple nights a week, kodiak bed tent and a couple of jackerys should work. they sell a portable ac unit that can vent out and drain, just stick it in the tent with ya on the bad nights and boondock.
best sleep i've had was out away from town.
