Twisting things around again?
I didnât imply that you would get killed. I implied that youâd get eaten for having no value.
General: Sharpsicle, whatâs your thoughts?
Sharpsickle: âI donât know, Sir, I defer to others.
General: Sharpsickle: What are you doing here? Why do I need you?
I wonât agree to disagree.
The folks Iâve taken around in circles had their positions and points severely degraded upon examination.
And the guy who claims Iâm trying to win and score points keeps pointing out how heâs supposedly winning and scoring points.
Again, what is YOUR value?
Other...
So along with the alleged advice, I get this stuff in addition to getting directed to a paywall: âI'd probably be inclined to call you thin-skinned and lacking self-confidence. But, that might be a bit presumptuous and rude,â and Iâm the problem, right?
So you viciously ripped into me about my negotiating skills and now you want me to walk into a dealership and say âI canât get anyone to buy my truck?â And âbut thereâs nothing wrong with that,â I should add.
Does that summarize the conversation?
Iâm glad to see that youâre talking differently now. I basically did everything you said with the exception of first shopping for financing. Carvana, KBB, etc. wouldnât give me a cash offer to use, so I went with the KBB online numbers.
Letâs see, Clark County, Nevada sales tax rate is 8.38%, which gives us $6561.54 in sales tax on a $78,300 purchase.
So none of you ânumbers gurusâ beating me up want to discuss why it was a bad route to trade instead of âcash selllingâ it?
My spouse is a female also, but weâre not lesbians, so please donât pin that label on us. Weâre both bisexual.
I served in the military, so I tend to handle the dirty jobs.
Are you unable to understand this sentence?
âyou do realize that KBB and the other online âcash valueâ websites wouldnât give me a cash value on the Gladiator, right?â
KBB did give me a value at trade in. It said a range of $53k to $58k with a recommend price of $55k..
Is that reading thing at work, again?
I said âcash purchaseâ value. As in theyâll find a dealer or party to buy it for cash. The dealer used that against me too.
And Iâm gonna call all of you âweâre smart, youâre dumbâ guys out on some other behavior. Youâre not talking about the sales tax...
Whoâs the one being disingenous, Briscoe?
Itâs dropped $3k since I traded it.
KBB says I should have got $55k best scenario. I got $55k.
KBB previously said I could get as much as $58k when I was at the dealership.
After yet again attacking me, you do realize that KBB and the other online âcash valueâ websites wouldnât give me a cash value on the Gladiator, right? I tried it with the VIN multiple times and multiple places.
Itâs also quite interesting how you didnât call out anyone but me for behavior in...
In the news today is Exhibit A about what I was trying to convey. My Gladiator was okay, but it didnât truly meet my needs, so this was a financial decision in a big way.
âFor example, Stathas said in a recent sale sold his F250 with around 60,000 miles to the dealership and walked away with...
Thanks! I let the challenged folks call me CW, or just C if need be.
Iâm saddened to hear that youâre breaking so many windshields. Mine on the F350 is back to being pretty angled, so hopefully itâll deflect everything but the lobbed artillery.
But you gotta make lemonade out lifeâs lemons. I...
