Make it 358 left in the nation. I had low key been looking. Picked this 2024 Mojave up this past Tuesday. Sizeable incentives/discounts got it from 65k MSRP down to around 44k. Loaded up with all of the bells and whistles. Happy camper. Time to start wrenching again.

Installed a Yaesu ATAS-120A HF antenna to finish out my setup. Bonded and grounded to the bed and the frame. Paired with a Yaesu FT-891.

Production dates June 4, 2020 to May 13, 2022 effecting 7,375 units per the recall report attached to this post. Bottom of the report states “The remedy component is a HPFP with improved durability.”

@Discount Tire set me up with my Goodyear 315/70R17 DuraTrac’s installed on 17x8 +30 Black Rhino wheels. I’m not a huge fan of the wide stance look, so I was very pleased how this came out. FWIW this is a diesel Willys on the stock suspension.

Moved my HAM radios off the dashboard and up onto the CB Bar. Mounted up nicely with all the wiring tucked along the windshield channel out of sight. For reference it’s a Yaesu FT400 and one of the new ICOM V3500 radios.

I’ve gone full lock right/left/forwards/backwards and haven’t heard a thing! The Willy’s with the diesel engine had plenty of factory clearance.

The antenna I use does not require a ground plane: Diamond SG7500A I turn my transmit power down, and, monitor aircraft, local PD, or HAM freqs a whole lot more than I transmit.
