Thanks for the idea. It’s a 2023 so that fits your explanation. When I got it, I got a stupid good steal on a manufacturers warranty and some services. So I’ve been using those. But I think I will mark it as you suggested and make a note to check it monthly. I do like to flip through the gauges...
Thanks for the responses. I did check the cap but not under I will do that after this storm passes. Have noticed any high temps I check the instrumental panel frequently to make sure all is running well but I will def get the test. I’m still in warranty so good time to get it done.
Good evening all,
my 3 year old is starting to express interest in engines and asked to see my gladiators. While showing him I noticed the coolant level looks pretty low as seen in image. I am at around 34500 Mile and 3000 miles in since my last dealer maintenance. no sign of leaks or anything...
the straight circular line going around the circumference of the axle with a small chip is the front. I thought that was interesting because the line is perfectly straight.
Haven’t done any extreme off-road and mostly through grass Fields and stuff what’s interesting is. It’s on the back of the axle. It looks like it’s bubbling and peeling off.
I managed to get some audio for the squeak I also think it is only happening when during turns it seems to follow steering. Again goes away pretty fast this audio was from my parking spot to the main road.
Oh I should have been more specific. I meant hours like the time from gettin to work and leaving for lunch. If I am in and out of somewhere it might do it on the first trip but not the second and so on. It also does not do it everyday trying to nail down a pattern there.
I very rarely use it when I visit my parents due to a really step drive way but that’s normal months apart other than that I don’t. I have wondered if the brakes weren’t all the way but ruled it out as the issue occurs randomly.
Hi all,
Recently I started getting the squeaking noise when pulling out of parking spots or drive ways that goes away shortly after. I have seen several post on this but was wondering if a confirmed cause was ever found as there seemed to be a few possibles listed. Sounds rotational and like a...
Thanks all for your input I was able to clean it up for appearance and if it happens again is what it is. Not a big deal just wanted to make sure something wasn’t amiss. I had a XTerra that had plastic heat tubing that cracked and would only leak when the engine was reved that was a pain to find!
Haven’t taken it through a car wash yet (just hand washed) and same with salt roads (not really common down here) though I did think of that as well. The farm does have very compact gravel roads that are pretty fine dust and can make a good mess when wet always have to wash when coming back...
Hi all,
Was installing new performance wipers when I noticed my hoodliner is pretty stained. I have just over 17,000 on the truck and it’s still dealer serviced. Just to be safe I checked all fluid caps and looked for leaks. I suspect what I am seeing is just collected dust from driving old...
Thanks, yeah I figured the shape of the bumper and lack of front fender wells? caused it to look crazier than it was. It went through like it was there was nothing to it and id be surprised if the water even got to the rim but that initial splash at speed scared the hell out of me. Coming from...
Yeah I checked the air intake and it just looks dry and normal Not even entirely sure water got into the engine area. I added some pics of where i found water seems like minor areas i still had loose dust on the reservoirs and such. i figured its a none issue but don't know enough about Jeeps...
