Hi all,
Was installing new performance wipers when I noticed my hoodliner is pretty stained. I have just over 17,000 on the truck and it’s still dealer serviced. Just to be safe I checked all fluid caps and looked for leaks. I suspect what I am seeing is just collected dust from driving old compounded gravel farm roads. However one area of concern is at the back (bottom) of hood following the wiper fluid line there was a powdery white residue (maybe from wiper fluid?) and a yellow green one which I’m sure is pollen. I spot cleaned a couple spots on the liner just to see and the only thing I am uncertain about is the powdery stuff. I included a picture of the engine to show no fluid splatter. Can any one confirm my thoughts? Not worried about the looks so much as just making sure nothing crazy is going on.
