  1. Thermostat sensor wire

Bump. Just did mine today, pulled that white tab completely out and away from the vehicle, then was able to remove the main connector; all while using some small picks. I didn’t find any good detailed videos for the removal, and then broke the white keeper on reassembly. Does anyone know...
  2. Anyone running 35x11.5s on a 17x9 wheel?

Understood. Those websites will also tell you how much more/less your new combo will stick out. Rockblox mudflaps, along with step rails, will do a fairly good job of keeping the road yuck off the sides and rear fenders. The conversions of these offsets are like a half inch, so it’s going to...
  3. Anyone running 35x11.5s on a 17x9 wheel?

I’m running 35x11,5 on my JTM on factory rims with no rubbing when disconnected. It’s not even a concern for a factory Mojave. You may want a tazer mini to adjust your speedo. You can find websites that’ll show you the scrub radius before and after, and you can play with offset and spacing...
  4. WTF is this fluid? Also got some snow today...

Looks like electric power steering fluid
  5. 2026 Gladiator Whitecap Announced

No one here is going to be able to speak to your painting skills. Based on your post, of even asking that question, I would recommend that you do a bit of research on painting processes by actual shops, and see if that’s something that you feel comfortable tackling. For most folks/diy-ers, the...
  6. 2026 Gladiator Whitecap Announced

Just think how those will look with a Bestop or black fenders. Yuck. must be cheaper to paint things white than to add color. may as well just paint “Bronco sport” on the side.
  7. DIY rooftop tent rack

I just watched this build and really like how the end result worked out; retaining the bed cover and flush with the cab. Anyone do this for a JT?
  8. Mojave SL tires vs LT tires

I went with 35s but stayed on the narrow side for the better squish ( 11.5 wide A/T, C rated). We still go places that I wanted some extra puncture protection. My mpgs took a small hit, and I really don’t think that I need to carry a spare for 99% of the time. that said, I do drive a lot on...
  9. O

Breaking news : costume shops in Florida have been overwhelmed with presales for manatee swimwear.
  10. Mojave swaybar vs antirock stiffness

I still don’t know how those swaybars are measured, I’m guessing in units of torsion resistance?
  11. Mojave swaybar vs antirock stiffness

I went with the apex autolynx, and have been quite happy with them; it’s easy enough that I now disconnect/reconnect more frequently.
  12. Mojave suspension - rough ride

OEM tires are C rated, a lot of 35” tires a E rated. That’s a stiffer sidewall. Heavier tires ( unsprung weight ) also needs to be accounted for. Temps make a difference as well. these are just a few things. Plenty of threads on this topic. Good luck.
  13. Interesting Viewpoint

The main difference is that you have an expectation to be able to press a button to perform an action ( or setting) that you’re trying to initiate or save. with the ESS, it’s not something that you initiated, and it doesn’t listen ( or persist ) the behavior that you told it to. thanks for...

leave the spouse at home? ;-)

    This is the way.
  16. What! NOBODY?????????????????????????

  17. Buy a 2024 Gladiator Max Tow with zero maintenance history?

I wouldn’t let the dealerships around here even look at my JTs unless there was a really good reason for it. My perspective is that “free” can cost the owner, with little to no risk of some untrained beginner. If the dealerships around here would send me home without fully reattaching the...
  18. Remote start cold temps.

Any way to use a camera ( or other person ) to see dash messages while the other person tries the remote start?
  19. âť—Tecbaba New Product | Hood Lift Supports Struts | 20%OFF | Promocode:YSLXLF54

I understand the start somewhere reference, I’m well aware of where many of our products are manufactured, and as someone that’s tried ( and failed ) at starting a business, I don’t have issues with startups. I do take issue with the maturity of products, marketing, and business, when I go to...
