  1. âť—Tecbaba New Product | Hood Lift Supports Struts | 20%OFF | Promocode:YSLXLF54

The company has a whopping 400 and change reviews on Amzn. Honestly I would have hoped that the forum admins would have higher standards for any vetting process, _before_ allowing them to solicit to their valuable members. I thought a lot of these offshore companies pay ppl to provide...
  2. âť—Tecbaba New Product | Hood Lift Supports Struts | 20%OFF | Promocode:YSLXLF54

If it’s listed on Amzn, I just assume that it’s coming from China; not much difference from Temu anymore.
  3. What is everybody using for mirrors when the front doors are off?

Jpeggz have been good for us

I looked on FB, and someone said that Police had an active shooter situation.
  5. Window Armrest Extender (3D Print)

How many ducks will it hold? ;-)
  6. Milage not what I expected

Also check that your oil level is near the middle of the range on the dipstick ( not too high ). air filter. alignment. Idle too much ( early morning startups, drive through, … ) electric draw ( have your batteries tested ) windows down or doors/roof off pcv Fwiw, my mileage isn’t what I...

  8. Best place to get a replacement hardtop?

I always thought they keep back about 15% along with their excuse of the day, in effect leaving the insurer underpaid. Of all of the interactions with an “adjuster” that I’ve been part of, only 1 turned out to match fair market value, and that was after getting someone fired and then escalating...
  9. Best place to get a replacement hardtop?

If insurance is covering, why are you looking/asking? Aren’t they supposed to pay someone to do this legwork? Thinking this out, I would suspect you would need to go the route of acquiring then repaint. The body shop would just need to charge for the materials and labor; it is what it is.
  10. Transfer Case "tough" to shift in motion? (2H to 4H)

Weird. Got anyone nearby that would let you do a short test drive with theirs? Dealership?
  11. Transfer Case "tough" to shift in motion? (2H to 4H)

Sorry, misread the post. Yeah, this should work at highway speeds. I do let off the skinny pedal when doing that t case shift. Works well in both our JTs ( assuming that you’re driving straight, and not in a turn? ) is yours an automatic or stick?
  12. Transfer Case "tough" to shift in motion? (2H to 4H)

Per the owners manual, you’re supposed to be like 5mph or 3mph or less when going from 4hi to 4low, and from low to hi. I usually put the tranny into Nuetral, then some pressure on the t-case shifter and roll to a near stop, and it slips right in, like in the last 2’ of the roll. What do you...
  13. 35" All Season tires to drive cross country?

MT would likely be the worst mpg. AT would be better, and then some P-rated all season would be better, assuming that it can handle your load/weight/speeds, and then also down to OEM size or slightly smaller. if you do go with all seasons, smaller and/or narrower, that might limit what...
  14. 35" All Season tires to drive cross country?

Make the trip there when there’s little to no wind, then catch a good tail wind on the way back?
  15. Naked, Topless Doorless Gladiator Poll

Need more options listed: Tube doors Covered tube doors Half doors Soft doors Bestop Front sunshade Full sunshade Windshield down Doors on with Ts/HardTop off looks weird, but rides really nice on those Sunday drives through wine country. Surprisingly, this combination has a lower amount of...
  16. Locking Hubs, who's gonna be the first???

Awe, they’re so cute. Do they use these exact ones on a Mohindra? ;-) all jokes aside, I might be interested if it would work with chromoly rcvs, but at that point it doesn’t make a lot of sense.
  17. 2020 Gladiator with 76k miles has never had 4WD engaged

This reminds me of those videos where a person is handed a drill, and then didn’t pull the trigger a couple of times. Or a baseball glove without putting it on and punching into it with the other hand. you do you. some of us feel compelled to try out features, sometimes in unnecessary...
  18. Mojave owners - do you ever wish you had a front locker?

Early on, as a first time off-road enthusiast, I fancied the idea of a Mojavicon. Now, a few scratches later, having the t-case wore in, and a few settle mods, I’m good. With the exception of bumping up to 35x11.5 tires, I’m still mostly stock, and I’m sure that it would do more than I’ll ask...
