  1. The "No Complaints" Thread

2023 Rubicon Diesel. Ordered it…installed 35’s with Icon wheels and 1” level. Only 3800 miles on it but so far zero issues or complaints. Love the truck AND the engine. Could’ve bought any mid-sized truck and I chose the JT for a few reasons; unmistakeable iconic style, diesel option, soft/hard...
  2. Do mud flaps make a difference (protect my driver's door handle from road grit/mud)?

I have Weather Techs and they fit/look/work GREAT. No dirty handles and that’s with Icon wheels and 35’s with 2” protrusion from fenders.
  3. Motorcycle riders? What do you ride? Pic/Info Thread!

Great question. Indian FTR Carbon R MV Agusta Dragster RR Moto Guzzi V85TT Triumph Bonneville Bobber Aprilia Tuareg 660 Husqvarna TE125
  4. Looking to order a new gladiator rubicon diesel

I am running 35’s on my ‘23 JTRD with a 1” level. I ran on the stock 33’s for the first 800 miles then installed new wheels/tires. No discernible difference in acceleration going from 33 to 35”. Non-issue in my opinion. Fuel economy, however, dropped about 1-2 mpg. Currently getting about 21 mpg...
  5. Diesel no longer available to order!

Easy does it fella. No one is saying there’s a problem here. Just a clarification.
  6. Diesel no longer available to order!

Per my previous update to my original post (above), my dealer told me that the diesel option in the Gladiator has been extended to November of this year. This is subject to change based on available engines/uptake. Additionally, the diesel has never been available in the Mojave which your dealer...
  7. Diesel funnel

Clear plastic bottles with liquid-tight nozzle and ounce graduations on side. Works perfectly. I keep it in the rear cup holder In case I forget to add some at home before fill up. Have a second bottle in garage. Found them on Amazon… No fuss and no funnel.
  8. Why did you go diesel?

Easy answer for me. I love Diesel engines, especially a Turbodiesel. Smooth, seamless and abundant torque with the noises I love. As CivilJeep mentioned, a truck like this needs an engine to match the persona. For me there wasn’t even a moment’s thought about which engine mine should have. I...
  9. Gas Prices Are Still Dropping With No Signs Of Stopping.

    Take your tall tales elsewhere.
  10. Gas Prices Are Still Dropping With No Signs Of Stopping.

Gotta love that Lamestream media.......more propaganda for the easily mislead.
  11. Diesel Died

one bit of advice after you get your new pump (if that is in fact the problem); USE FUEL LUBRICANT REGULARLY.
  12. Single digit temps and check engine lights

My bet is on fuel gel being just bad enough to affect fuel pressure. We just had a drastic temperature swing from 58 degrees this morning to a current 6 degrees. I have additive in my JTRD and tomorrow morning will be very telling when I fire it up. I’m not convinced that winterized diesel has...
  13. Diesel no longer available to order!

You are correct. I followed up with the Sales Manager at my dealer because a friend was asking about the diesel. Sure enough, Sales Manager said he was misinformed by Jeep. As of yesterday, the statement from their regional sales rep is that they are extending diesel option availability to...
  14. Diesel no longer available to order!

No longer available in either vehicle….
  15. Diesel no longer available to order!

Yep. Take for example the roughly $1500 price differential between building my Gladiator online and placing the identical order at the dealer. He said they’re getting price increases on a weekly basis.
  16. Diesel no longer available to order!

Until you sit down at your dealer to order one, that is. The web site configurators lag behind Stellantis press releases and/or internal dealer notifications. Again, my dealer GM specifically told me they received notification from Stellantis HQ that they could no longer accept or process diesel...
  17. Diesel no longer available to order!

Not to belabor the point but the writing is on the wall. They already took the diesel out of the Grand Cherokee, Wrangler and Ram 1500. The Gladiator was last to receive it and last to lose it. Get ‘em while you can. But again, my dealer told me it’s too late….they’re done.
  18. Diesel no longer available to order!

Well, the diesel light’s a-flickering…..it’ll soon be out. If not definite now as I was told by my dealer, then my money is during MY23. 502 miles and I’m absolutely loving this engine AND truck.
