It was warmed up when I checked it. There also was a little bit of a slope with the passenger side a bit higher. Didn’t think it was that much of a slope but maybe enough to make it read the way it did.

Now that I think about it that was the side that read full. I was thinking I turned it around and it was on the other side but maybe not. If that’s even possible.

So I checked my oil at the gas station today and the dipstick read full on one side and half full on the other. What gives?

That sounds about what it is. Taping sound that goes away at operating temperature. Some times it sounds a lot worse when parked in a parking lot around other vehicles. At home I have a gravel parking area and I don’t usually hear it that bad.

Yeah I hear ya.

As far as I can tell after shutting it down and restarting it’s still quiet. No trail rides ever in it.

No I can’t.

Any ideas what causes it? Is it something that needs immediate attention or something I can do to quiet it down?

I ended up factory resetting it. Hope it didn’t hurt anything.

I have a 24 Mojave and got a software update. When it was finished I couldn’t get the hvac temp control on the dash to work. You had to go to climate control and use the slider. No way of knowing what temperature is and I don’t think it would stay. Anyone else have anything like this happen?

I thought so too till I bought them and couldn’t get the passenger side installed due to really bad fitment issue. Good luck.
