Software update yesterday.

I have a 24 Mojave and got a software update. When it was finished I couldn’t get the hvac temp control on the dash to work. You had to go to climate control and use the slider. No way of knowing what temperature is and I don’t think it would stay. Anyone else have anything like this happen?

Lots of people did. It comes back.

That being said I wish I lived in area where I didn’t need to have my AC set to LO all the time.

I ended up factory resetting it. Hope it didn’t hurt anything.

No, and likely letting it sit for 12-24 hours would have resolved the issue.
Or - some drive cycles.

Or a radio reboot usually works in the OP's situation, and they would not have lost all their personalized settings that happens with a factory reset.

Didn’t have much programmed since I’ve only had it for a week. lol!

How did you get the update? I have the Connected app and have not seen anything pop up.

Thanks. I used to have a 22 rubicon (hence the screen name) but traded it and have missed it ever since.

The factory reset is just supposed to return all the user settings to factory condition. It is not supposed to change the software itself.

If the update did get lost in the process, it should just download it again in the near future.

Over the air. It just popped up yesterday.

I have a 21 and have never ever ever ever gotten one single update ever. Everything works as it did the day I drive it home

I got one update in my '20 Overland, and it was trying to do another one when I traded it in February, but it kept failing. I had updated the head unit software when I did a map update, and that might be why. It has not tried to do one on my '23 High Altitude yet.
