New Gladiator Software Update Prompt

I have never seen an update on my screen. Does it matter which model or screen you have? 21 EcoDiesel 7" screen Sport S.
How do you check?

On the bottom of the touch screen, hold the left and right ends of the short cut icons and you will get a dealer menu. The first item on that screen will give you the Unconnect info.

Edit: I realize you mentioned 7 inch screen. Not sure if this is applicable to 7 inch screen.

I have never seen an update notice on my 22 with 8.4 nav. I have noticed some odd tazer setting changes , ESS, but thought nothing of it. Will it tell me an update has been done?

If an OTA update is done, there will be a notice on the screen at the next startup.

You can use the Map Update site to find out if an update is available for your head unit. Follow the instructions and key in the requested information as if you were going to order an update. It will tell you if one is available and if it has to be done in stages (multiple updates).

When I was at the dealer for my windshield R&R they said I needed an update but I refused it due to the Tazer installed and in use. I think I am fine without the update.
