If your head unit qualifies for the update, then it should be an automatic OTA download, provided you have an adequate cellular connection.

Think I need to do a reset for mine. after update, now it seems slow to respond. Apps take forever to load. half of app screen will be blank or just show as U's

I don't know if this helps/hinders/or confuses, but last fall I had the aux battery replaced by the dealership. In the process they stated I needed the main computer replaced. They did cover , at no cost to me , the entire service bill. I assume that any updates were done at that time. When I got it back I checked that everything was operational, it was. The only difference I saw was that I could no longer, through the hack, use my rear locker in 4H. Now, when I activate OFF ROAD + the traction control automatically disables. It had to be manually disabled prior to the dealer service and I was able to go 4H locked rear. Just my experience. Anybody know how to get it back?

No. I bought a generic USB drive and copied the firmware into it.
I am planning on doing a write up once I have a good idea that I didn't break anything.

I have never seen an update on my screen. Does it matter which model or screen you have? 21 EcoDiesel 7" screen Sport S.
