This here. If the compressor side hit the housing/scroll it can create fine aluminum shavings that the engine will ingest. Only way they can confirm this is to take the compressor housing off and look for damage to the housing and compressor wheels.

This is the way. Cut out the suitcase muffler (replace with pipe) and leave the 2 resonators. Sounds perfect and won't drive you crazy with drone inside the cabin.
I have the stock exhaust and just removed the one big middle suitcase muffler and reconnected the exhaust with a pipe where that muffler was. The exhaust sounds perfect. No drone, and not loud, but it now sounds like a truck and not a Honda CRV
