I got the Y connector cause I am using a Bluetooth OBD2 connector. I pulled out the 2 plugs from underneath the dash, plugged them into the connector used my OBD 2 to adjust speedo and keep fog lights on when high beams are on. I unconnected the plugs from the Y connector and went to plug them...

Thank you for the welcome and everyone else that has. Yeah drive #1 with them on road was great not nearly as loud as I thought. I have heard the lettering wears off after a while.

I am coming from a 2021 Crosstrek Sport with Methods and KO2. Had to in order to put the bigger KO2 on it. But didn't see the reason to get new rims if they can handle bigger tires. Save money to go into other areas. Plus like you said it breaks it up.
